I bought my "White Logo" Toy Story Collection Woody on June 19, 2010 at Toys R US (I remember that date because it was the day after Toy Story 3 released in theaters, haha). I believe he was only $25 because there was a Toy Story 3 toy promotion/sale going on at the time. Looking back now, unbelievable price. He's a first-run version with real denim jeans. He seems to be the original height though. He's very tall.

i bought my signature collection woody on may 18 2014 at toys r us too!!! i got him with me right now & a couple days later i promised him id always love him & take care of him no matter how old i am!!! i didnt care if i was 19 & still dont if im 29!!! but two years ago i was sleeping with him & his head came off :( when i woke up that morning i was as devastated as andy was when he ripped his arm in the second movie. i guess it was just wear & tear. i got it back on but now it shakes & turns a lot. & sometimes when i pull his string now he doesnt say his phrases in the movie & just says im being loud. i guess thats just wear & tear too. im trying 2 keep my promise & never, ever, ever, ever break it like andy never did & like bonnie should never have. im glad toys r us opened back up in macys & some of their stores back up but i hope they open all of them back up like they were gonna b4 covid. i still love it & toys

It's also possible yours was one of the very last cloud logos repackaged in the white logo box before they started mass producing the shorter ones

Huh, I never noticed that on some Cloud Logo boxes, the blurb says "DUAL TOY SHERIFF & INTERACTIVE WOODY MODES", and on some it has that plus "DELUXE FILM REPLICA" above it, that's a fun little variant!

The boxes do change a little bit so does the color of the face too… jeans and height are the easier ways to tell.

last month was my second trip 2 disney world since i was seven in 2002 & i had just as much fun as i did back then!!! my favorite part was going 2 toy story land & meeting him & jessie. i met her first, hugged her & she walked me over 2 woody. i was ecstatic, hugged the shit outta him & told him “hey woody! hey partner!” i wore one of my toy story shirts & they pointed at themselves on it. i didnt get an autograph book this time so woody got a paper from the photographer lady & they signed that. he did first & i hugged the shit outta him again while jess did. we went back the next day & rode slinky dog dash. i dont like roller coasters but slinky looked like a gentler one & i gave him a try. my dad & i were in the last car. i was nervous & said “omg” on the first drop. i felt like i was falling. on a swerve after that i was like “oh god”. i said it again when he launched. i got used 2 it after that but i was still nervous. when everybody else put their hands up on the hills i only put one up & held the bar with my other one. slink said “so long pals” when i got off i told him “so long slink”. i was surprised i wasnt even a little queasy. i definitely wanna go back sometime & maybe i’ll ride him again. hes prolly the only one i’ll ever ride. the only thing i remember seeing waiting in line was busters dog tag

I think I have the 2011 Signature Woody. It could also be White Logo Woody, but considering I got him for Christmas in 2012, I'm more inclined to say it's Signature Woody. Honestly, I prefer Woody shorter. Looking at the picture there, he looks a bit too tall for my liking. I'm a small enough person as it is, being 16 and barely 5 foot. Haha, I think the smaller Woody is a bit nicer in size in my opinion, but of course, it's different for everyone. I still remember getting Woody on Christmas morning, with Toy Story wrapping paper. Core memory. I don't think I'll ever forget it.

I know they are just images but I know you really have them, I had the 2009 Woody but without its box and I already saw something dirty, I want to have it like new and with its box that is just like the 1995 Woody, its place will be my bed just like in the movie, so it never gets dirty 💙

I was so lucky to get a white logo first edition Woody at a flea market for only $45! It has everything including the box and it is in perfect condition! It sadly didn’t come with its stand, but that doesn’t matter to me. It is easily my favorite piece in my collection!

I know a lot of people always complain about the fake jeans that Thinkway has been using in recent releases. But you do have to keep in mind that denim is a really expensive material to afford, especially when you factor in the part where they have to mass produce hundreds of Woodys on top of that. So if you really think about it, Thinkway probably didn’t have the funds to afford anymore denim, so they had to cheapen it because of that.

That makes sense. I feel they used real denim to try it and roll out the best effort they could to attract buyers but with time had to make changes to protect their company profit margins. It’s just a guess though.

Very interesting how other countries got more accurate Woody and Jessie dolls. Brazil Cloud Woody has the denim jeans and perfected vest. UK Mattel Jessy has a movie accurate physique, just the right amount of skinniness and thickness in all the right places, and a more accurate likeness to Jessie’s face, but the wrong expression. Wonder why Thinkway and Mattel didn’t give the US the goods.

Why is the real jeans thing so important or attaching ti people as long as its the rigjt color and the entire doll is accurate ti the movie why would i pay Hundreds for it

The quality is better with real denim and thicker too. It’s personal preference if you’re happy with the fake jeans that’s ok too. The value just goes up on real denim because collectors tend to prefer it. Also consider it’s rare and expensive since less of those were made and discontinued in 2010.
