Woody, Buzz Lightyear and the rest of the gang embark on a road trip with Bonnie and a new toy named Forky. The adventurous journey turns into an unexpected reunion as Woody's slight detour leads him to his long-lost friend Bo Peep. She's a great example of a villain who isn't really evil at all in regards to her motives, but is labeled a villain because of the immoral extremes she's willing to go in order to achieve that goal.

One sad fact about this movie is that Don Rickles, the voice of Mr. Potato head, had passed away before the movie was made. Pixar knew he wanted to be remembered, so they used Archive audio for Mr. Potato Head's lines.

That's why I still had two of my original potato head pieces from my childhood one. The bowler hat and the hair piece. The new one I got is perfect. Retro one. If only I had mrs potato head too because she's gone too. A lot of people come and gone. It's sad but we'll see them again someday when life is over. Moral of life is we are born on earth to make happy memories and enjoy them while they last before new ones are made and then when all is said and done we are all that we got. And then when life is over, we will reminisce back to a life that will be remembered but all those memories we will see. And that's the Moral. We only live once. Only one Chance.

Let’s be real. The characters, the animation, the writing is always a home run. They didn’t need to make a new movie but they found plenty of new story to tell and I loved this. Woody is the Mickey Mouse of Pixar, they wouldn’t make a new project unless it was worthwhile.

I first watched this during the height of lockdown/social distancing. The way Woody adjusts to get a tighter hug with Buzz at the end absolutely broke me because it reminded me how long it had been since I'd felt that.

I watched Toy Story 4 in Theater when it released, and it was phenomenal. The theme was about "The Lost Toy" , and it can serve as Woody's final lesson, and the beginning of his whole new journey. Highlight Gabby Gabby's role, she wasn't exactly antagonistic, she just want to be loved. More surprising she never lashed her anger towards others, after been through what Stinky Pete and Lotso both been through, and it eventually found her a better place, I cried when she was finally accepted by that girl.

It's been 20 years: two decades ever since Bo Peep was in a Toy Story film. When I saw Bo Peep again in this movie, I was starting to get some late 90s feel: nostalgia childhood memories. And began to start tearing up on how time flies by fast. I remember last, she was in the 1st film (1995) and 2nd movie (1999). But I don't think the 3rd one at all

The fact that Bo Beep is fragile is why she wasn't in the third film. She would not have survived all the events going on in that movie. I personally think Toy Story should have ended with the third movie but this one is not a bad follow up, especially with getting to see Bo Beep again. Fun fact: The toy, Tinny, is from one of Pixar's very first animated shorts.

I love this one. Woody needed to learn to live for himself & not the kid he's with. I was skeptical about this one when it was announced but it was a wonderful story that progressed all the lead characters very naturally.

But he’s a toy. That’s the entire main point of their existence; to make kids happy. This first three movies promoted that concept perfectly. Buzz’s arc in the first movie was realizing that being a child’s loved toy was more important than being a Space Ranger. I don’t have a problem with the concept of “living for yourself and not just for others”. The problem is that it doesn’t fit the narrative concepts that the other movies already set up.

I remember how I thought a fourth film was a terrible idea, especially the perfect ending of the third film. And I started to get worried due to it being delayed twice and Pixar throwing out 75% of the script, but it still managed to be an amazing film. It’s not as good as the third film, but I would say it’s on par with the first two. It is astounding that Pixar was able to make Toy Story fresh and maintained great quality for four movies straight in one single franchise with the same characters. Toy Story franchise is something that will NEVER be equalled by any studio. Even for a trilogy, it's extremely rare. Only Lord of the Rings has achieved such greatness/feat. But four movies?

36:02 Actually Gaby Gaby is not evil. She spent decades without being played with, and she craved love and affection from a kid. Her methods were rather extreme at first, but she did it out of desperation and not genuine malice, and she eventually realized she would not get what she wants by force so she convinced Woody with words, showing that deep down she is not like Lotso or Stinky Pete. She is a good toy deep inside.

The 1st movie is about Woody accepting change and sharing with others The 2nd is woody learning to face the future even if there is fear and enjoy the moments of now The 3rd is about accepting the end of something and having the maturity to move on and find a new purpose And the 4th movie is about knowing when you give too much. Woody is a giver he gives to his kids, his friends, his morals at the loss of his own happiness. This is Woody's retirement where he embraces his own wants and happiness finally

Thank you Tim and Clarissa for doing the reaction to Toy Story 4, I went to see it in Theaters with my mom and my sister back in 2019, also for this Christmas Season Please do a Reaction to one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time, It's A Wonderful Life (1946) it is among to be the best Christmas movies ever, I highly recommend it to you if you haven't done it already, you're going to love it! it's a Christmas Classic.

I still remember when I saw the trailers and I didn't see the plot and the ending coming, and a phrase from Woody that caught my attention was: "there is something I know and it is that a toy's duty never ends".. I was really touched how Woody was still not over Andy, when he told to Forky that he fulfilled his purpose, and "that it was great to be with him even though it did not last forever, children grow up and then they leave and do new things that you will never see" and tried to continue his loyalty with Bonnie wasn't the same.. and it really hurt me that he gave everything of himself, because "he had nothing else left to do".. He really gave it his all, even his sheriff badge and his voice box, it pierced my soul.. Although I'm glad that he had the opportunity to be happy himself with Bo Peep, I loved their re meeting, as well as how Buzz gives him back the lesson about "listening to his inner voice", and I did not expect that in the end he says goodbye to his friends, I felt like he would never see them again and started a new life.. Also at the beginning Gabby Gabby seemed like a villain to me, but I was surprised that she only wanted the love of a kid and in the end she redeems herself and chooses her own child herself

A lot of people were negative about this one but I liked it it was nice seeing everyone again, I had the best time singing “you’ve got a friend in me”. Like when I was a kid, sure they didn’t use a lot of the old characters as much but I enjoyed what we got and I enjoyed the new ones, they changed bo quite a bit and maybe some of the character stuff was a bit off but it was such a feel good nostalgia film to me :)

Now you know why I call Bonnie the REAL villain of "Toy Story 4". Forgot everything Andy told her about Woody and probably never even noticed he was missing. While this isn't my favourite movie of the "Toy Story"franchise, I don't believe its just a cash grab or anything like that. It had some good stories, I liked Duke Kaboom and friggin' loved Duck and Bunny(if you love Key and Peele like me, definitely react to"Storks"and "Wendell and Wild"!), especially "Plush rush!"

The music played in the antique store is also played in The Shining. It sets the creepy scene and parallels Sid's house. Also 'Tinny' is from the Pixar short film 'Tin Toy'!

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Tim and Clarisse! I teared up when Gabby found herself a kid, when Woody and Bo Peep were reunited, and when Woody and Buzz said their goodbyes. Sometimes when I’m sad, I stop being sad and watch your collabs with Clariss instead lol. Buzz has always been my favourite Pixar character and this movie and his whole inner voice plot just solidified that the first time I watched it. I was crying by the end.

I like that this movie centers on the child more. Forky saying, "I'm a spork! I belong in the trash!" Is all well and good, but like he said, it's a spork. Trash doesn't get to decide when we're done with it, and the emotions of a human child are far more important than the desires of a spork. The other movies were more about the desires of the toys to stay with Andy and be played with, aside from Buzz's original motives. But even then, Woody didn't bring Buzz back to Andy's room for Andy; Woody brought Buzz back so Woody wouldn't be ostracized by Andy's other toys.

Okay as someone who grew up watching these, I loved that it was probably the perfect ending for Woody without a doubt. But I have to say....I want that bloody Bunny and chicken! I was in tears laughing at the old woman and then that ending. And of course Keanu Reeves is always a win in my books.

Unpopular opinion. This is my favorite Toy Story movie. It has the best "villain" who has a well developed story. A good theme. Sort of the meaning of life...but from a toy's perspective. The new characters are great and used well.
