I have been a member of the W Club for several years and have never been disappointed for joining. However I do find it frustrating that they do run SO MANY lotteries and also even if you’re a W Club member securing dolls from dealers can be REALLY REALLY difficult!! And I agree with you, the way they sometimes “ cluster” releases can be frustrating because it can be SUPER expensive!! You’ll have a long period of time where there’s nothing of interest and then all the sudden there’s there’s three releases in a row all due close to each other! $$ But overall there is ALWAYS something I want to purchase so for the $50 I find it worth joining . Not really loving the three W Club dolls they are starting off with this year, but I’m still signing up again.

It's always worth it to join, even for just one doll! But it's hard to control your purchases haha. It does seem like lotteries are more common and harder to win lately, doesn't it? I don't think there's a sure way to get a doll with any of the current methods (lotteries, dealers, IT direct). But my philosophy is even if I don't win one, there's always more on its way. -Sang

Me, having been in the club once in 2012 and every year since 2017: 📝👀 LOL! Lovely video. I definitely think another thing to consider or hammer in is that peer forum environment. You need to be good on both impulse control and knowing both your finances and your taste. When thinking on preorders usually it's a vague idea of when dolls will be ready that might be pushed back *or* be pushed forward depending on what happens in production and it's important not to burden yourself with dolls you just *sort've* want - vs. ones you actually adore/want - or dolls you aren't thinking about payment for in a real way. Can your budget handle all the dolls you'll need to pay for when the deadlines are out? Think on it. Even so that's one thing the forum can be helpful for because there's a good chance in the marketplace that people are looking to takeover dolls from the club either at cost or even slightly higher and there's always something else coming around the corner. My recc for people considering a membership for the first time is just trusting your gut as far as joining - making that informed consideration - and as far as any purchases but I've found that even dolls I missed out on I ultimately could live without so perspective is key too. Really though, convention in the past had been a main reason for joining - truly you do NOT get into it without a membership and even then no guarantees - but I grew to love a lot of dolls and brands. There can be something for everyone - but only if you can get in the good habit of budgeting as you personally need to - but never feel burdened to buy anything just because it's exclusive (hell, I only bought 2 of the preorders and around 10 dolls from them the entire year). Really think on what you like/if the higher prices of these lines & access to them early on would make it worth it to you and go with that.

Love seeing these videos of bratz , my scene , monster and ever after high dolls and makes me wish I had purchased them back then instead of trying to get them on eBay for insane prices new in box . I’m very excited to hear they are going to be releasing the bratz dolls this and monster high next year ! Hopefully they will be as good In Quality as when they first came out with them ! Mattel really needs to get their act together in their Barbie clothing quality , bc Mga is knocking it out with their omg and rainbow high ! It will also be fun to see the competition again between the 2 doll line releases ! Lol

To me there is an artificial pressure build-up scenario caused by terms like exclusive and peoples' anxiety to be part of it respectively want to own these rare dolls that is simply disturbing. I don't know - not with me. Love your videos.

Getting into the club is very convenient at 50$ price tag.. but you have ti deal with a lot of temptations, and financial situations that probably will become a nightmare (if you are not a rich person).. Thanks for all the advice! I signed up for this year without giving much thought to it at the lSt last minute. Last year I didn’t get to do it on time and I didn’t know much about it, though I’ve craved these dolls since RuPaul collaborated with them. I just found out about them watching Drag Race actually but it was all so mysterious. I’ve pre ordered 2 of the upgrade dolls so now I need to be really patient lol. Btw the prices on eBay are nuts...! I really want to start my collection but I feel I’m kinda late to the party. I definitely need to check that club marketplace. Great video! I was a member 2019, & 20. It seems that if a person does not have a rapport with a dealer, you’re sol. Good point on the waiting, ie I didn’t get Mothership until 2021 January!

I was thinking about getting a second membership this year not to increase my odds with lotteries ( I actually have good luck with those) but because some made to order dolls I really could have used doubles of like Rayna from 2020 or Like No Other Nadja...but I think in the end I'll just stick to one.

A second membership is totally worth it if you do end up wanting duplicates. But it's hard to know in advance what is being offered throughout the year. Every year is different and hard to gauge what to expect. -Sang

I quit the club after I think tenish years of membership as my interests in dolls/figures changed within the realm of my ooaks. Also, the prices have increasingly risen. Not worth it, least not for me. But I get why ppl get fun out of it 👍

Welcome aboard! The W club will warn you about upcoming releases with a warning email prior. Just mark your calendar and set an alarm so you won't forget! The forums will surely bring the topic up too. I personally never missed an email/release. Just be sure to read through the emails they send :) -Sang

I'm confused by this video. I thought the dolls were available direct from IT if you join the club so you avoid inflated dealer fees? Sorry but the EU dealers are as bad as Ebay resellers easily adding 100 plus to the original purchase price. I thought if I wanted one beautiful AA Poppy Parker doll at $160 etc then it's best to join the club? The Belle Mariee doll is over $300 on Ebay and worse in euros and pounds. I'm in the UK. I would never pay £200-300 on a doll and probably no higher than £150-160. I want just one AA PP doll and not interested in the other lines mainly because the face sculpts aren't for me. Love Ginger and Poppy! So surely I'm better off joining the club as I can get nowhere near these AA Poppys outside of that??

I had already decided to join, but it’s nice to know a bit more of what to expect. I think I will get $25 worth of entertainment value just from being in the loop, and I’m sure I will use the credit. I actually don’t like a lot of Integrity dolls (or at least they aren’t worth it to me), so I don’t think I will go over budget. The main thing I will have to set clear in my mind is if I am just going to buy what I like, or if I should end up trying to speculate a bit. Right off the bat, the upgrade dolls are a dilemma. The only doll I would possibly buy is Nadja (I don’t like the others at all), but if I knew I could never resell her to at least get my money back, including all my costs to get it to Canada, I wouldn’t get her. I think once I get access to the forums, I will get a better feel for what is popular and what common secondary prices are. I will proceed with caution, but I’m still excited.

I'm actually in the EU, my concern is shipping & handling - is it a flat fee for international customers? Am I correct in understanding that, if they announce something at 8pm EST (which is 2am here), it could be gone before 3am?! I can't afford to stay up all night, sadly :( this is disheartening.

Hi there, there isn't a flat shipping fee unfortunately. But IT usually does give you a few options of shipping to fit your needs. Most releases are around 12 pm EST. But that's just going off of the last few years.

Hi! It's my first time joining the W club, and as an international participator (Russia), I've always wondered which dealer to use. I don't have any experience in buying from a dealer, and I also don't want to miss a doll because I don't know which dealer to contact! How should I choose one? And I also don't know whether I should ship to my own address or a mailforwarding company in US (Delaware) which I use for USA based purchases.

Hi there! We cannot recommend a dealer to use. Each dealer has their own set of rules and way of running their business. Our suggestion is to reach out to a few of them and see what their policies are. Some dealers prefer or only ship to US addresses so it's a good idea to talk to them and see what they are comfortable doing. There's also some dealers based in the Europe like ETA and Laurebelle. Maybe that might be easier for you? It takes a bit of time and effort to see what dealer works best for you. But it's worth it once you do! Good luck!

We are fortunate enough that our dealer is located down the street from me. It's actually how we started collecting IT dolls is through their store. But location is an important factor to consider. If your mailforwarding company is in Delaware, you might consider reaching out dealers on the east coast. That way the dolls will arrive quicker to the company so they can mail it out to you. Most dealers don't have a reliable website where you can check stock of brand new dolls (usually it's confidential for the W club members and sold out before the general public). It is best to email them with your order as soon as you get the W Club email about the releases. The only dealer that has active stock checking on their website is Sideshow. You can order directly through their website without having to talk to a person. That is another option for you. -Sang

It can also help that they usually put a list of dealers on the integrity toys website to comb through. Usually people find one dealer and stick with them and each one will have their own policies about preordering
