This video got me back into collecting my old Joes circa 82-86. Then I got back into POTF, then I got back into Hot-Wheels, lol. I spent 30 years trying to keep toys and posters to a very minimum, now that I'm approaching 50 nobody comes around anyway so I'm putting all that shit up. It all makes me smile a bit and that 'm sure will help keep me young. Thanks for the memories!

I know man I’m in my early 50’s and same no one comes around I guess friends are too busy and everybody is weird now and reserved so I collect the better and rare nerf guns and hot wheels and micro machines and have all of it put up in a spare room cause nobody can tell me that I can’t or give me crap for collecting toys at my age🤷🏼‍♂️👍🏻 it’s fun and yeah makes you feel young!

Kinda low balled. Guess it's a reginal thing. Most shells and figures start at $5, cardbacks, 5 to 10 each, whale around 200 in that condition, rattler, 75, skystriker, 50ish( no seats or chutes). Snow cat unbroken launcher is around $30, etc. Joes are super hot right now, market is softening, but 600 was really low imo. Love the channel and want to stop by your shop. Finished the 82 to 94 joe line, but working on heman

That's how all my joe stuff is, just smashed into 10 - 70Lb black/yellow tote bins in the shed. I went through the early 2000s just completing the collection and going on a huge buying spree when people were just dumping their entire collections for nothing, just to get rid of it for some quick cash in hand. I just don't even want to deal with it, I mean I'd love to display it, but I don't have any room and I know if I did, I'll go through 2 or 3 bins then just get sick and tired of sorting it.

All the people going off in the comments on this video about what something is "worth" are missing the point. Something is only "worth" what you can get someone to pay for it. Sure, maybe dude could sell this stuff on eBay himself. But then he'd have to pay for shipping and deal with the time of packaging it all up and taking it all over the post office piece by piece, over weeks, months, years. Pawn shops, used bookstores, toy stores etc. buy things low and sell things for what they're actually maybe worth or more. That's how they profit, and profit is how they EXIST in the first place. That's because it takes work, money, and time for them to store it, package it, pay emplyoyees, pay bills, etc. If you take used items to a business to sell them, you aren't going to get "what it's worth", for whatever good that ephemeral value is of a nostalgia item that no one actually needs. If you don't understand this concept, then don't ever open your own store, because you'll be out of business within a month or two.

Language is dynamic and it changes over time to reflect the people that speak it. That's why most people in the South used to call "skunks" "polecats." It’s always easier to unload the whole lot, but you leave a lot of profits on the table doing it that way, but you gain convenience in selling everything at once. Pluses and minuses for sure. I buy and sell Joes and have for years. Guy accepted the offer, Ryan got a smoking deal, and both parties seemed happy, so that’s all that matters in the end. Plus, he sells them differently than I do because like you said he has the brick and mortar shop which is amazing, and has expenses. I think folks glaze over the value of the cards unfortunately though.

I sold my collection about twenty years ago. I had to move and was getting sick of carting it around. Unfortunately the buyer figured that out . The collection was massive. I had the flagg , defiant, terror drome almost every vehicle and aircraft. With alot of multiples. I probably had over a hundred figures with some cobra troop building.I only had a few of the first year figures. And stopped collecting about a year after cobra la I ended up letting the whole thing go for a regrettable $800 . That one still hurts

Have a lot of the Joe stuff but in poor condition from excessive use. Have the cobra base with the rocket ship in the middle, there’s a red switch hidden inside a door you pull to propel it. Believe the joes sneak inside the base through a vent in the anime movie. Probably biggest toy I ever owned.

Always fair with the cash prices especially fair with trades. Most retailers would never even give half value. Of course the seller could have gotten more on ebay but that takes time, packaging, shipping, etc... Most of the hater comments are from individuals who don't know how a brick and mortar work. As a small business owner myself i understand you have rent, insurance, utilities, maintenance, and payroll. What do you have on a busy Saturday? 4 employees to pay? Don't listen to the negative Nellys & keep the great content coming! A+
