The funny thing is at some point (I think maybe in the early 90s or maybe it was after the show ran the first time and became syndicated) but they had to strip out all the licensed music and replace it with horrible cheap replacements. It pretty much made the show unwatchable as it took the one thing the original show had and ruined it completely.
@aethericAnuran4 жыл бұрын
@@JohnDoe-wq5eu Cartoons were all like that back then. There was no sense of permanence or the idea that fans would want a complete version of the shows. Ah yes, Turbo Teen. That was nonsensical even by the standards of the time.

@@paireon3419 Maybe getting reverse-KITT'd and becoming the AI for a Supercar I might can give you. But PHYSICALLY transforming into a car... a regular car mind you, not a special car-shaped war machine turned hero, but a regular car... Boy the illicit substances must have been extra pure that pitch meeting.

I have a special place in my heart for kids video. My mother was extremely strict about certain things that did not let us watch MTV or VH1 when we were growing up until we were much older and in 1985 our only source of music videos was Kid Video. It was where I saw my first Joan Jett video I love rock and roll and had such a major crush on her from it

I had to hear the "Kid Video" intro to jump start my 39yrs young mind of mine full of 80's & 90's knowledge & remember "Kid Video". Look at Robbie Rist on the "keys" aka Cousin Oliver from "The Brady Bunch" & Martin from "Grady".

I think the live portion of the opening focused on "Cousin Oliver" more than "Kid Video" I think he was supposed to be the "star power" draw after the videos

I loved Kidd Video back in the day. Now 35 years later i still love and watch it.

I LOVED Kidd Video! I only just rediscovered it in the last couple of weeks. The few, seemingly, intact episodes that exist on KZbin are so, good I wish the whole thing could be released. I know it'll never happen, but what if...?

Loved that show - and the drummer too.

Dan can hang out with me anyday. He's one of the few people that seem to remember every show I watched as a kid.
