TOYO TIRES VS AMP TIRES (WHICH ONE IS BETTER?)

Got the AMP terrain attack as a wheel upgrade for my new truck. After 2000kms they are weather cracked like crazy. Contacted the rep and they refused to replace them. Bloody garbage. Spend the extra cash for the Toyos.

The video should've been more about comparing the two tires - not talking about them! They should've been tested on an actual vehicle to see how they both stack up. And yes, there is a HUGE difference between Mud Terrains vs. All-Terrains!

I would NOT drive those AMP tires in snow or ice PERIOD! You'd be sliding all over the road and into a ditch. Now however, those Toyo tires, I would rock in any road conditions. My wife had Toyo Open Country on her Kia AWD and it could go anywhere...dirt, mud, rain, snow, and yes, deep snow. I recently replaced them after about 65,000 miles with little good tread left with the little bit less aggressive tire, the Toyo Back Country...mainly because it had more sipes. After just getting more than 2 feet of snow total in the Seattle/Lake Stevens area in 2 days, and more later, I was very impressed again with Toyo tires. No issues what so ever. We have more mountain passes in my state than most folks and these tires can handle them all. If I lived where it didn't snow or ice up much, the AMPS would be cool.

Have 65k on my AMPs. They have a hard sidewall and round footprint. Tire shop put 45 psi when fitted, dropped them till all the tread was in contact with the road. Run at 22 psi on road, 15 off. Even wear and great in the wet. To many people run to high a pressure.

Toyo makes good s..t including winter GSi tires. None of them is really a winter tire made for ice.

Toyo tires are amazing, and if you get one that was made in the US facility then there’s a chance I took part in it... I work at toyo lol
