what coilovers / spring rates are you running ? i have a 2zz 01 spyder on bc coilovers ( 5/7 ) but plan on running a stiffer spring in the future ( 1-cuz i am pretty low , 2- cuz i am going with a big wing / aero ) 225-45-15 hankook rs-4's ( squared ) xp8 front pads but plan on doing the custom control arms etc so i can dial in my alignment better also , how much toe out did you run with ? mind sharing your alignment specs ?

DannyDC2 Hi Danny, yeah understand Seb has thrown you the keys. Over the build its made 3 visits to the Ring, it was only this year ran the btg app, managed 8:40 with traffic I'm sure with more commitment could close it down to 8ish.

I have an s2000 but I really want a Toyota mrs and swap it with a 2zz I also have a Toyota Celica GTS , love the 2zz very reliable and quick not incredibly fast but fun .

Nope, other than a different selector to use the existing MR2 cables the Honda items are left alone.

its a 3.5 inch dish, the hub i think wasn't anything special something i found online.

Any more on the Toyonda? Seen the add on ebay and it just blew my mind! I can only imagine what a k series can do mid engine coupled with rwd. The kpro v4 is well worth looking at, I have one on my Kswap and its proven it worth! Looking forward to updates on this, I think you should keep it.

It's an off the shelf part although I think there is room for improvement as the collector sits quite low.

Island Monkees was it brought in the uk ..be easy to improve the collector ..how much was your M factory diff out of interest

No most of these parts came from the US, but that was around 3 years ago now. Think the Mfactory Diff are around £450/£500 new best to check there Website. The branch design could be improved to go over the rear brace rather then under. Would make fitting a flat floor or rear de-fuser easier.

I used the factory ECU (with immobilizer disabled) but i believe DannyDc2 has since had a Kpro fitted.

It dose the job. Had to remove the OEM weight from the gearbox so it would fit. I assume the US version of the Civic either doesn't have it or the gearbox is slightly different.

Well done mate. How did you get the honda engine to talk to the toyota tachometer and speedometer? Resistor box or something?

Christopher Rodriguez Hi Chris, the Honda ECU shares the same out put so need to adjust or compensate for a different signal for either.

what its all about, its all about using mediocre engines in fairly superior chassis, these Honda kids have finally realized how hurting their FWD civic 600HP VTEC YO 9000rpm YO Vtec just kicked in, so now they have jumped ship, claiming theyve made some superior ultimate swap combination... Dummies, weve had 6 second mr2s with 3s's since the 90s.

no doubt k20 is a superior engine, but you cant call 2zz garbage , i just said 2zz is alot cheaper and easier swap if you dont need 500whp+ power lol, i see mrs 2zz as a touge / track car not a drag one, as mid engine rwd.... so you dont need those kind of number really or if you do go turbo as ofcourse 2zz is capable of too
