There is a jdm 2007 toyota blade for sale here in Canada with 42000km for 7500 cad. Is that a good deal? 2360cc 4 cylinder with cvt transmission.. are these good reliable cars? I need a car for college was wondering if you think this is a worth while car to buy? Is it the same as a toyota matrix?

I'm not sure if you'll see this comment but I found your video helpful! I'm looking at buying a 2007 blade (standard fwd 2.4l ) it's done 65000km. New brakes, tyres, it's tidy. But I'm aware /read about this engine oil /engine issue with the 2.4s? What do you think couple years later , ? Is this an issue with all blades or just luck of draw? Is there a way you can tell when buying one ? Ultimately does this mean you buy more oil for the car, it needs more than average ? Or does it have bigger complications? I'm hoping you'll be able to help !! Or anyone else out there !
@EM-bj8xe3 жыл бұрын
Hi I’ve had a Blade since 2018 the engine oil issue isn’t that much if at all an issue. I’ve only had to recently top it up before a service because I’m driving 145kms per day up and down hills and sometimes doing speeds of 140km/h. So if you are going to go faster than you should then you’ll need more oil than usual otherwise it’s not that much of an issue. The blade has been nothing but reliable for me, so much so I think there ‘might’ be something wrong with it because there’s been nothing wrong with it.
@EM-bj8xe3 жыл бұрын
It’s an awesome car good on gas typical Toyota reliability. I recommend getting a Blade G for interior wise and if you’re lucky get a TRD or Sportivo version or 4WD version which is more like an AWD. It’s good value for money I’m looking at getting the Blade Master G simply because it’s just affordable luxury and a disguised little beast of a car. People underestimate the car then get smoked! ;)
