Toyota Camry washer pump replacement 2006-2011

Today I helped my friend to solve a problem with his 2010 Toyota Camry. His vehicle was not spraying washer fluid on the windshield and he didn't know if it was fuse or pump itself. I diagnosed the problem and replaced washer pump. This was very easy project and you can easily do it yourself.

It's easier to put the new pump in the reservoir, if you remove the gasket from the new pump & insert it 1st & then push the pump in. Hardest part was jacking the car up to remove the wheel

If humming noise is gone, it means that pump is kaput. Also check one of the fuses before

What if there is no fluid coming out but i do hear a sound from the pump.....i did check the fuse and its ok

So it might not be the motor on my mom's cars. Might be the pump. Cause the sound died.

Well, the motor and the pump it’s all in one unit that’s the part that I replaced that piece pumps fluid towards the windshield. So if you don’t hear the humming sound, just replace that unit just exactly what I did and everything should be fine.

I watched this video and when it final got to taking out the pump. You turned off the camera and then turned it on to show the fluid being drained out. I'm sure the video said PUMP replacement. You turned off the camera and did not show how to take the pump out. Bad video...........

I described the action " all you have to do is to pull pump out". Very easy self explanatory.
