I'm going to be doing my transfer case oil change, but can't find the fill plug, any idea where it is? Or is the transfer-case shared with the transmission?

When you put the clutch fork in the ball, the fork spring clip is located at the outer groove or the inner groove? i noticed there's a lot of play when putting it at the outer groove. hope u see this. thanks!

Hi is it possible to separate, the gearbox from the transfer box while the box is still in the car ., and hence pull the gearbox out leaving the transfer box bolted to the engine block . thanks

+Tanman Su NO. not enough room. You must remove the whole transmission and motor together.

not true can come out through the bottom jsut have to remove cross member and shit... if yo uhave a hoist though take out the engine much easier then the hassle im going through

It has always baffled me how the GT4's used the same transmission but still had an LSD for the front that didnt split the power to the right tire between the rear as well. I think I am starting to understand it now. That second sleeve around the driveshaft gets direct power from the transmission by bypassing the front LSD right? Thus allowing the transfer case and rear LSD (do they have one?) To do the rest from there?

+Texas Ace GT4's had an open front diff, the RC and CS had LSDs in the rear.

I know this can be a little strange, but here goes. Can that transaxle be converted to a 2WD, FWD to use the LSD. I use a RAV4 for Rallies and Solo 1. I have the power, but I need a FWD LSD only.

Yes. Use a MR2 diff and MR2 turbo inner stubs
