It’s really not very different. I built mine from a 5S-FE car over a decade ago. You absolutely CAN make them AWD. The hardest bit is determining how you’re going to setup a fuel tank. Fuel cell was my solution.

I have a series 2 2001 IMPORT JDM TOYOTA CALDINA GTT ST215 here in Sydney Nsw with only 96,000kms. One of only about 200 here in Australia. Has the turbo 4th gen 3sgte. Similar parts and all wheel drive drive train as that gt4 and mr2 engines. Some differences like the turbo manifold etc.. love the sports wagon

So jealous... one of my dream cars but with so few of them around it will always be just a dream. Even the st185s are extinct or embedded in a telegraph pole somewhere. Toyota also had the race st205 car they used in the comps with 433kw with the same 3sgte until they replaced it with the 2JZ with the same power output. I also love the Cressida and I have one with a 1JZ but ran out of cash before I could get the engineers cert 😩. I been holding onto it for almost 8 years now and still can’t let it go
@GrassRootsGarage5 жыл бұрын
Mate from experience (Ryan here) focus on your Cressida build first!!! Even though it’s been 8 years hold onto to it until it’s on the road driving. It’s the best feeling driving it for the first time completely finished!! Thanks for watching mate Ryan and Pete
