I was coming up on needing a new vehicle, and was super excited to pick up one of the 2024 Tacomas since I had a hand in their production, as I've always liked Toyotas. I was eager for this truck the entire time I was working on the project and was even ready to settle on the turbo 4, cause I could look at the truck in my driveway and say I did a part of that. Sorry but I wouldn't waste a $1 buying a new truck, I jus bought a new 2024 car last week, when are the manufactures gonna learn not everyone wants a truck! Ford & Chevrolet lost my business when they stopped making cars, I would have bought either a Ford Fusion, Focus ST or GM Cruze if they were still being made, but Honda won my business when I ordered a Civic Hatchback Sport Touring back middle of March. I have a 2005 Colorado Extreme with 44,500 miles, doubt I'll ever need a new truck & maybe not a car either. The car I traded was a 2007 Pontiac G5 GT for the Honda, my Civic is fully loaded being a Sport Touring edition. Why would I want a truck with same fully loaded options for $90,000 when my Honda MSRP was $33,000?

I drove to this dealership from California because they had the best deals. I must of saved over 8k on my vehicle. Back in October 2023 a lot of the California Toyota dealers were adding a thing called “ Dealer adjustment or addendum “ which was as high as 5k. They would then make you purchase options at a highly inflated price. Things like $1500 for ceramic coating or $1500 for catalytic converter guard or both. Sorry for getting off-subject, but I saw who the dealership was and I had to agree with Motor Feed.

On the other hand, the tacoma with 35's is wild. Nice setup. Even so, I'm not paying that for a Tonka truck. I wanted to put 35 - 12.50 bfg's on my 2000 V8 dakota years ago. However, I would've had to increase clearance with at least 3" lift, and lower the axle ratios which can be involved, so it opens up a whole can of worms. I just left the 31 - 10.50's on it, and ran it to 314,000 miles. It was an excellent truck.

The prior generations were known for that. Stuffing turbos to force more HP out of a smaller engine has never gone well for longevity in the history of the internal combustion engine. I purchased the 2023 Toyota Tundra Hybrid TRD Pro. I received a recall notice from Toyota about the tire's excess wear on the outside edge, this was due to an improper alignment from the manufacturer that has destroyed the outside edge of the tires. I took it to Winter Park Toyota, and the service advisory stated that all four tires needed to be replaced since they were already rotated, but they would have to send the information to Toyota warranty for the final approval. I was shocked when they advised me that Toyota would only replace three of the four tires. even after the service advisor stated that all four tires needed to be replaced. I contacted the Toyota advocate and explained the situation they advised me that someone would contact me within 24 hours, after waiting a week I called back and explained the situation again that Winter Park Toyota advised me that all four tires needed to be replaced, I then took it to Toyota of Seminole County and the service advisory also stated that all four tires needed to be replaced but they had to wait for approval from Toyota. The advocate said they would need to submit another claim to a different department and here I'm still waiting with no response from Toyota to resolve this issue.
