Toyota Corolla Burning Oil? Try This First!

I have a toyota corolla s 2010 and it burns oil i bought the car few months ago and now i have 2nd service due but the oil was at the last point on the stick has 256k km on it will it fix the issue ?

It's not a guarantee, but it's inexpensive and easy, so it's worth a shot. If I were you, I'd try it.

I believe the 2AZ-FE has a TSB for excessive oil consumption. Replacing the PCV certainly couldn't hurt (and it's cheap), but there is a fair chance the problem is something else. Good luck 👍

HI, it was helpful, but I have some issue with 1cd-ftv engine 2.0 d4d. Diesel engine doesn't have that part(pcv), but I have high oil consummation and I lot of smoke from the same hose. Any advice?

Usually "burning oil" means that you have to add oil more frequently. Doesn't necessarily mean you will see noticeable more smoke in the exhaust.

I cleaned mine with carb cleanr and then it worked
