Toyota Corolla How to Change ALL lights to LED

Quick and Easy Changing out all interior / exterior bulbs from stock to LED's on a 2017 Toyota Corolla XSE.

The first mod or upgrade I do when I get a new car is swap out all of the stock yellow icky lights to a nice bright clean white / blue LED bulbs. These modifications make a very nice difference in overall appearance and feel of the car.
*Also this DIY is helpful to replace a burnt out light.

Jealous Lawn Care I have a 2013 rolla and you can access the headlight bulb from under the hood. Can I change that to an LED?

tyler malmsten -- unfortunately I don't believe it's possible as these years have a sealed back to the headlights, they only let you change the high beams from my understanding.

iFLIP★07 -- looks like it's too new to be found online, but you should have all the same bulbs (especially interior) as this 2018 I shown here. Vehicles only change every 4-5 years with body styles, lighting...etc.

iFLIP★07 -- for lighting, yes it should be the same for all interior bulbs. To verify for sure you could always check with a dealer to confirm the bulbs are the same.

talking about LEDs, you think it would be possible to make a vid where the DRLs are constantly on with a switch. one problem with that corolla Is that the day time running lights turn off when the headlights turn on. I've tried looking online on how to keep them on

I just changed my bulbs to led.. Nice and bright now. I wanted to ask you. My led lights seems to be touching the plastic is that ok? I purchased the same pack you did.

D Jers -- which bulb is touching out if curiosity? I may have bent the metal prongs to fit it better . But yes since it's led and creates little to no heat you should be fine. If it were incandescent bulbs it would definitely melt the plastic.

Because LED bulbs generally do not create excessive heat it is okay if they are touching the plastic

To the best of my knowledge the side yellow marker lights on the attached to the headlights are required by state law.

The vertical lights in the bumper is led the headlights are also led from the factory

I think the lights for the rear license plate should be led since they can be hard to see with the regular bulbs and wished Toyota had installed them at the factory like the headlights

Also, the Corolla has a cabin air filter behind the glove box. You'll need to remove the glove box to access it.

Davin Peterson -- yep some cars are easier than others unfortunately for the cabin air filter, it's usually pretty quick but in am awkward place. I didn't even get into that here because this car is so new (5k miles), so the oem filter is still acceptable for now.

Mrs_xGaming -- that's great! Turn signals are always tricky because you need resistors to avoid the quickly flashing bulbs.

Compa Cheo -- if I'm not mistaken, those are not changeable unfortunately (to anything other than oem). I know I've looked into this on my other vehicles and it's an led type strip already and couldn't find any white aftermarket led strips to replace it.

I suggest next time you change your bulbs to use dielectric grease. Your LED bulbs will last a bit longer.

Each state may vary, but for Illinois we have cars that blink oem orange or red. Blue for sure is illegal, but white is supposedly ok here
