Hi! You definitely don't have to, but we do recommend it to prevent damage to your vehicle. If you purchased one of our kits the complimentary tool set should be included.

Hi! Yes our LEDs are designed to dim on/off and act exactly as your halogens do.

These lights are normally factory LED, which you cannot replace as they are soldered to a chip and board.

LED's don't last longer than incandescent bulbs from my experience. I purchased mine through this retailer, and one of my license plate lamps is already burnt out, and the other and one interior is flickering. LED's are a bit of a scam.
