the actual reason that some old vans like this one didn't have a right side door is that in japan,they didn't want the kids to get in the car from the right side which was actually the driving side as we know,it was kind of a safety feature type

Not in Japan, everywhere in the world, Chrysler, Oldsmobile everyone used to do that In fact Dodge Caravan in the 90s was the first minivan to have doors on both sides and then others followed suit

This car is a proof that Toyota makes one of the best and no nonsense cars. Still in one piece, being over 25 years old and still in great shape. The gearbox, engine still on stock conditions and everything working fine and making more sense than any modern day cars available in India. Can't believe a minivan from 1996 is much better than what we get now as mpv's . We Indians forced ourselves to companies to provide us slow, boring shitty cars with only features inside and just a cosmetic car without any driving feel or the rush to drive those things around nicely. The govt too kept us enthusiasts at the first place by providing excellent quality of roads, no tax on newer cars or cars over 4 m length and having engine capacity over 1200 cc and 3 cylinders. Good job 💯👍

this one is very clean estima thumbs up to owner but this one is not actually x limited edition its only bagged with . x limited models have original Panasonic rear view camera back in late 90s. and has x limited written on back screen one sided mercury glass and also on seats. has tv unit in Japanese and video output/input ports. mechanical changes are bigger both front and rear ventilated brakes so minimum rim size is 16inch and improved shocks absorbers for more comfort ride. edit: odo meter iis also digital.

I had one of these (slightly older one) and it is still my favorite of all cars i had over the years (17 cars), i would love to drive one again, however the roadtax and insurance for a heavy car is rediculous here in holland.
