We haven't forgot this project. It took us some time to find someone with the tools, quality, and price standards we have set for ourselves. Not an easy feat. But hard for me to justify the cost also. I'd be interested on a manual pop-off pop-on window glass solution for a lower cost if one were available. The motorized up/down feature is a luxury.

We did our best at keeping the cost low but without sacrificing our quality control. We do not have any plans for a manual window at this time.

I think you mentioned here that there would be a video detailing the install. If so, perhaps it could be posted for potential buyers to peruse to see if they had the skills, tools, etc. to do the work? You know, sort of 'counting the cost' ahead of time. :)

Put my preorder in. Any chance you'll be sharing a CAD model or STL of that "template" you mentioned so that any of us who want to try and do the door switch mod can give that a try? I wasn't clear on if that was a stock plate from another vehicle you were holding up in the video, or a printed one. I'm definitely down to tackle that, whether it be printing up a set of switch covers or modifying existing ones. I understand the other fitment issues that would require modification of course.

We had a business partner who is no longer part of the project that made the printed plate you saw in the video. He has since gone radio silent which is part of why we scraped the stock switch route.

Good news, I think I've come up with a way to mod the master switch panel to handle all 4 windows. I have an initial scan and model of the panel, and a couple of different approaches to test that will determine overall placement and how the panel will clip in to accommodate the extra switches, but getting there. I'll post an update when I have a working prototype with all 4 window switches mounted. When it's ready, should I just send the model, parts list and instructions to the same email address used to notify about the group buy? My prototype will be an FDM print, but I do plan on sending it off to have it printed in SLS for a better finish. If it's of interest to others, it may be cheaper as a batch order if multiples are needed, but I'm getting ahead of myself. I'll check back in soon with progress.

I will literally buy doors from a part out to do this with to save my factory doors in case I fk up lol. But this is to my door in Canada would be a 6k purchase. A rear window kit would be cool but way outta what I would spend also. Awesome stuff though if you can afford it.

No welding required. Cutting and some adhesive. Everything else is designed to snap into place.
