Love it and we do own a Toyota Rav 4 XSE 2023. With also a MX-5 ND club. I would of bought a GR but the sales people here in PHX, AZ missed the point of a true drivers car. Thank you for all the engineering and everyone involved really do appreciate it. Rav 4 was traded in with a 2021 Corolla Hatch. Thank you for the video

@@wpb1395 from 3300 welding points several hundreds aren't made by robotics. These were made by master craftsmen. They do this for a reason. The other Toyota factorys are much more automated. Only the high quality racing and sports cars are made in motomachi. There is a reason. The highly automated factory favor cost cutting and manufacturing speed. The cell based building process allows for better quality control und more complex building progress.

Correct. Subaru did build the 86. However this is the GR factory. What you saw was the 86 GR MN. Only 100 built and they were assembled by toyota. The engine had upgraded internals but sadly only put out 216hp. Lots of carbon fiber though!

I purchased my 2003 Toyota Tundra back in 2015. I found out there was a frame recall due to rusty frames caused by a third-party vendor Toyota hired that made cheap frames for them but after proving my VIN number I was told my truck had already been involved with a recall of the frame and was not needed any further work. This year with only 144,000 miles on it failed state inspection due to rusty frame holes. I took it to a dealership in town and they said I should have been part of the frame replacement but due to the previous framework coating done by another dealership years earlier, I was not involved in the frame recall. The tech told me that looking at the work done they just applied a special paint on the frame but all that did was hide the rust as he said it just trapped it in for several years until it finally came thru and is now destroying my frame. dealer said to call the corporate office in Texas to see what they would do. I talked to an Anum who agreed that the Toyota Shop years ago was paid for their work and they do not have any responsibility from that point on that I would have to look up who did the work in 2012 and discuss it with them. I said I should have been part of that frame recall class action suite but because my frame was treated by painting at the time my VIN was removed from Toyota's third-party Vin collector agency at the time of the recall and therefore nothing they would do. I know the time limit has been up but it was not my fault and I also noted Toyota had made extensions as far back as last year. I asked if she could take this up a tier and she said I've done the procedure Toyota recommends and their policy procedures when calls like this come in and she said they will do no more. Wow!

This is the GR Yaris department. This isn’t standard Toyota factory. Every Toyota isn’t hand built. Only GR Yaris is. Not sure about GR Corolla, but i don’t think it will be as unique as GR Yaris.

I do not believe in Toyota anymore. I have a new forerunner still under factory warranty and they would not replace a $3 pin to stabilize the wheel well mudflap at Toyota Melbourne Florida. This was something that needed to be fixed and was a month after I purchased the vehicle brand new and Toyota corporate was contacted of the situation. I am shocked at the customer service.
