with my HEL track cooler i see 105c after a 15-20 minute session in 25C day. even another 5-10c oil temp racing on a 36c day is still well with the oil performance window for Motul 300v. so the oil pickup is in the same location and not droppped lower, you are simply adding more oil to take heat from the motor? be intersteing to see your data on how much cooler everything is. lovely looking bit of kit! 🙂
@RotheliRacing2 ай бұрын
@@davehanna1540 yeah. We added just more oil, to get some more stress out of the engine. For some people who don‘t track their car regularely, it might be even enough without an additional oil cooler, if someone doesn‘t like the idea of an oil cooler.

Looks like a top quality part, well done. Would there be an issue with the extra oil capacity in normal road use where in cooler climates the oil won’t reach optimum temp under normal driving?
@RotheliRacing2 ай бұрын
@@vivid4724 good question. But no. Even with our Huge Oil Cooler Kit, the oil reaches during winter 80 degrees easily. So with only the extra oil capacity you‘ll need maybe an extra few minutes until you reach 80 degrees.
