Another case of a company releasing a product for this car without proper testing. Release fast, sell even faster…

Do you think that the need for the oil cooler is lessened?
@RotheliRacing3 ай бұрын
@@georgenovak7614 not at all. Unless you only drive on the road. As soon as you‘re going to the track, in my opinion, an oil cooler is one of the first upgrades you should make.

Well it seems the oil pump has a more than adequate ability in the volume department. Glad you discovered the problem and shared it, as the fix is easy and your engine didn't get hurt from it.

Hi Phil, is this new aluminium sump pan you mentioned available yet ? I see it's got cooling fins and already built-in baffles. I also like the idea it fits by keeping the OEM engine undercover apparently. What is the oil volume increase ? Priced yet ? I'm sure this will be an upgrade object of interest to many GR YAris / Corolla owners ! A specific video for this new oil pan maybe ? Thanks for posting this video, informative as usual.

@@micsub hi Nothing in that video was about or with the new oil pan. 😉 Any actual Infos are available here: www.gr-zoo.com/threads/rötheli-racing-baffled-oil-pan-with-increased-capacity.7237/ And yes of course there will be a video. 😉

@@RotheliRacing Yes sorry, you are right, the video subject was not about the new oil sump pan, but you did show some CAD pictures which REALLY attracted my attention ! 😏 Noted, went to the ZOO, posted a comment and also sent you an email. Thanks.

With the tip of the oil squirter being necked down, did the logs show any decrease in oil pressure once they were missing?

Correct me on this one, when you say pull timing, the PID Is "Knock correction learn value" right? I see mine float around -25 to -22 most of the time on 93 Octane.

Engine tuning is not my departement, so i can‘t tell you any exact values. 😅 Plus we drive 102 octane. But it‘s ROZ and since you‘re talking about 93, i assume you mean RON.

Fair play to you for posting this video. Agree with other comments about a another example of company trying to make money on a mod they haven’t really proved themselves. Also if there wasn’t an issue why are they immediately changing the design. Wouldn’t the standard pistons of tolerated 400bhp? Does this mean you have to tear down the engine to rectify it?
@RotheliRacing3 ай бұрын
@@Murtayafourfun OEM Piston would be most likely fine with 400hp. But our goal is much, much more. 😉

😡Unacceptable for IRP (Italian Rods and Pistons) 😡who does not want to admit their wrongs. This also happened on a GR in the Indian Ocean, and they do not want to hear anything. They sell their kits for a fortune and are not even able to test them in a bloc. Their pistons should not touch the nozzles. This is not the case for other brands JE, or NITTO. Don't buy IRP guies 😡
@RotheliRacing3 ай бұрын
To be fair, i don‘t know about the other brands because i haven‘t built an engine with a different piston brand… So unless i haven‘t, i‘m not gonna say anything about that. 😅
