HiLux: bombproof, driven by people that need a functioning, well priced work tool; older ones ens up as a farmers wagon. Amarok: under powered & overpriced, not really an issue as normally driven by clowns who carry nothing bigger than 1-2 mountain bikes or younger builders. Raptor: normally found up your hole on the M50, driven by lads with wicked small mickeys.

Mark. It's an " old bus" but still one of the best! Proper work horse. Often as not the choice of farmers and that in itself is an endorsement! Yes Ford and VW have " better" products but will they last as long as a HiLux? Still has a place in the working world and a place in our hearts. Brilliant review, as always.

Good objective and real world, not a social media review. I’ve a 71 hilux. It’s no bouncier than the hot hatches I’ve come from. On the road I see rangers multiple times a day. I’ve probably seen 12 invincible x models over two years. That is reason enough to buy one.

I’ve got the new Hilux,had alot of pickups over the years and always go back to Toyota,never had any problems which is more than I can say for the rangers

Becareful you don't drive with a convoy of other Hiluxs off road....you mighr get banned like the original Toyota advert. Personally id pick the Hilux all day, great resale value and the modern 1s are even bulletproof.

New ones are a great truck that 2.8 is a great engine ,not the best on feul but you can’t have it all 👍

The choice of Taliban everywhere! I'd buy this all day over the other two. The people who actually use pickup's for their intended use buy these, ranger raptors are bought by personal trainers and urban wannabe hillbillies. They never see a rural road.

Too much emphasis on off road, how many owners really use it off road /?. I would like to know what’s it like cruising on a motorway etc, cruising ability and how quiet it is 🤷🏻‍♂️
