I think the Crown Sport would be the most popular of Crown line-up in the US. It seems like a replacement for the Venza, even the interior is layed out similar to the Venza.

Kirk, Toyota's global production forecasts for 2024 have just been flushed down the drain by the Daihatsu RockyGate®scandal. We will see if the numerous investigations involved will impact production of any vehicles bound for North America. Getting back to the good news, it is great to see the premium-priced UX can now compete with a Corolla Cross Hybrid in the powertrain department. If Lexus would stretch its wheelbase to match the Corolla Touring Sports, they would really be on to something.🤣 Many of us hope the Crown Sport will soon cross the Pacific. Given a choice between Toyota's 'best car yet' and the Crown Signia, I would take the Merely Fabulous Crown Signia® ten times out of ten. 🤩🤩

Toyota is trending the way GM was in the 60s and 70s. The bean counters are milking every dollar of profit that the consumers will bear, and the top management is asleep at the wheel as their reputation for making good value-for-the-money vehicles is getting ruined. It's time that they make a back-to-basic small truck, and start mass production of their PHEVs before Kia/Hyundai improve their PHEV powertrains.

There is DC fast charging but Chademo I think at 50kW. I don't have a spec sheet but i'm fairly certain it's the 18.1 kWh battery.

Simple: phev’s are the answer..for Americans at this time. We are spoiled (to fill up in minutes),and that will not change. Sitting on the interstate exits for charging for even 10 minutes is not in our set of expectations ever…when charging drops (to the same time it takes to fill an ice),and range extends by hundreds, we may be persuaded. Ill buy a phev next. Benefits: Stay in town, all electric, go on the road, its ice. ❤

Prelude is a hybrid. Honda confirmed. They could even make it a hybrid manual because they already made three of them. First-gen Insight. CR-Z. Briefly the Civic Hybrid. A manual hybrid isn’t impossible. Honda can do it again with the new Prelude. Although I do hope it ends up being AWD…. Or release an Acura variant with AWD.
