Not a huge amount available for the 1zz to be honest, best thing you can do with one of those is replace it for a 2zz. We had a customer with an avensis spent huuuuge money tuning his 1zz to end up with less performance than a stock 2zz, great gains over stock but makes far more sense to go with an almost straight swap better engine

@@BATF4P HA! Already have a 1ZZ-FE. Odd thing is that there are more Toyotas with 1ZZ-FE than 2ZZ-GE. So you would think that a larger market share would be good. The 1ZZ-FE is more bottom end than top end and you don't have to worry about keeping it in the top end ... It is more driver friendly than race friendly.

Is 1.5jz not very common in the UK? We don't do it often in the US because it's said the 1JZ head doesn't flow as well as the 2JZ head. Non-turbo 2JZ are so cheap here (anywhere from $200 to $500USD, sometimes it even includes an auto transmission lol), and 1JZ were never sold in any US production Toyo/Lex so parts are slightly more expensive. I guess if it sounds like a 1JZ still it's worth it 😂
