Just did mine and it is now leaking from the drain cock on the water level sensor. Is it stuffed?

Was it needed to remove the filter housing from vehicle?

Hugh Jazz not necessary but makes it easier and visual inspection inside the housing for any contamination that needs to be cleaned

I couldn't unplug the electrics, so turned the filter upside-down and put one bolt back in to hold it while I loosened the water sensor and filter. Worked a treat!
