1980年にステーションワゴン55型の後継車種として登場した60系シリーズの最終モデルである。
無骨な角張ったボディの外観上の変更点は角型4灯のヘッドランプであり、内装はインストゥルメントパネルの変更と同時にオーディオスペースを2DIN化している。
「STD」はベーシックな標準ルーフを装備しており、駆動方式はパートタイム4WD、5速MTに搭載される水冷直列6気筒OHVエンジンは3955ccの排気量から、最高出力145ps(107kW)/4200rpm、最大トルク28.0kg・m(275N・m)/3000rpmを発揮した。

This is the final model of the 60 series, which was introduced in 1980 as a successor to the 55 Station Wagon.
The exterior changes to the rugged, angular body were the addition of 4 square headlights, and the interior was updated with a 2DIN audio space along with a change to the instrument panel.
The "STD" model is equipped with a basic standard roof, a part-time 4WD system, and a 5-speed MT with a water-cooled inline 6-cylinder OHV engine with a displacement of 3955cc, which produced a maximum output of 145ps (107kW)/4200rpm and a maximum torque of 28.0kg・m (275N・m)/3000rpm.
