Comments in the video from Lung Sir and Edmond totally agree with~ I was lucky to own MR2 MK I both normal and supercharged version before and totally faced the challenges what both of them talked about. However, once you can handle them, you can handle any of cars. 😀 Hope Lung Sir and Edmond can bring more 80's classic to us such as Starion or Mazda 323 GTX😁
I worked in Toyota Canada head office in 1985 when the new MR2 arrived in the head office. I did drive it for a short while with 116 HP DOHC 4 valves per cylinder. It was fun. I drove a 84 VW Rabbit GTI 90 HP at that time. I was not welcome to park the VW in the Toyota HQ parking lot.
@@KTK_808 I owned 3 84, 90, 94 GTIs. They were not fast, but I loved them. They were more fun than 200-300 HP sport cars of the 80 and 90. I wish I could find a good shape 84 GTI again.

I've got one of these (had 3) best car I've owned for all round feel to fun factor. My current dark blue '88 super charged is in my garage being renovated. Simple mods = ~200bhp (O/S SC pulley an N/A Chassis mods for weight + C52 gearbox). Love Mk1 MR2s, had 3 since 2001 and they are rarer each year. I'll never sell it.

Keep that simple, NA engine , lower the car by 30mm , K&N filter system , Sebring exhaust and A008R tire . Perfect
