Nope, not sorted. Put all original exhaust system back on , new sensors and still failed mot

@@andrewsparey697 Strange,seeing as everything is replaced back to original. Only other thing you changed was the post cat lambda,it might be worth getting a multimeter and checking its voltage (a lot of cheaper o2 sensors are of questionable quality). Been following your videos,hoping to get myself a MR2 after xmas as a summer plaything/runaround,i was looking at MX5s but the rust on most of them is horrendous.

I would estimate the Malian is 5kg lighter

Nice! Concidering one for my spyder as well, I heard about some potential issues with the muffler baffle starting to rattle, have you had any issues with it? Also, any severe drone on highway cruising speeds?

No baffle rattle , but i have to admit it does drone a lot when the engine is under load , say uphill. If i did it again i would get the TTE style with the two exhaust at opposite ends of the bumper

@@andrewsparey697 ye I was looking at that one too, seems like a decent platform for a bumper-exit conversion as well. The lotus style one really looks nice tho, but need to be able live with it since I daily my spyder 😉

Are you running factory cat? I just can’t get mine to fit as cat too big and they interfere..

Andrew Sparey My Malian has a bell mouth fitting for some reason and that is why they are so close. I’ve bashed the heat shield back a bit and they now are tight together and don’t rattle. I think I’ll stick with this

@@stuartrobson4331 i have actually thrown all of my heat shields away one by one, most dont do anything but add weight, with the exception of the one that protects the air filter box which is important- until you throw away the air box like i have

Not specifically but they were pretty long. No less than 30mm

I did not but it was so massive it was not worth comparing. The Mallian was half or perhaps more than half than OEM

@@MeltonAngling it is insanely noisy , to a point of distraction. It makes me careful with my acceleration , lest i get pulled over

@@MeltonAngling get the TTS style where there is a dual exhaust, one at each end of the bumper. These seem to be substantially quieter

Yeap, very loud and touches the bumper. The TTE exhaust style would be superior
