Does the old gasket match the block you have coolant galleries in between the pistons but no holes on the gasket. And would that make a difference? Shorten the life

How long did it take from start to finish? I have the same truck and it needs a new head as well. Where did you get the new head? Online? Just want to make sure I get a good one.

Took me a good full day an part of a night to finish it. An online. It was a job for sure. Make sure the timing chain tensioner doesn't pop out or you will have to take the whole front apart to fix it. I appreciate you watching

Yes, but it's still gone have a little bit of a tick. Even with everything brand new. Just don't over tighten the valve clearance. Not less your looking for a tick it will disappear after adjusting. But it's still gone have that 22r toyota tick. I appreciate you watching
