The Kaon Battery bracket is awesome, has space for circuit breakers and fuses, it's the one I went with. Yes it's pricy but quality is great.

In the UK dual 70 amp battery on the 120 came as standard , on another note the 1KD-FTV engine started its life in the last year of production of the 90 in 2001 and has allways been used in the 120 since it went on sale in the UK in 2002 , injector problems are far less and last much longer in the EU due to the better quality EU spec diesel .

I am looking for a fire/heat proof box that will fit in there and then use it as a secret compartment as there is no such space inside the car

Understand this is the 2018 Prado model however the first and second iterations of the Prado 150 have a big aircon hose protruding into the battery space. Is there a relocation kit for the aircon hose or does the new hose shown in this video fit into older Prados?

The clip you mentioned broke as I tried to fit my tray, I’ve removed the tray and the AC pipes are no long rubbing. But still need to replace the clip and make the dual battery work. Any tips mate?

Too big and not ideal in the engine bay some will argue but they don’t like the heat is what the experts tell us
