Toyota RAV4 (2019-2023): Yellow Dynamic Guide Line Fix. Exclamation Mark (!) On The Screen.

In this video, we will show how to fix the absence of dynamic yellow guide lines in the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023 Toyota RAV4.
If you see the exclamation mark in the top left corner of the backup (reverse) camera display and you don't see the yellow guide lines, this means that you need to adjust the steering angle in the RAV4.
We will show how to turn on the hidden service menu and adjust the steering angle. This will fix this problem!

Спасибо! Трудно сказать, т.к. есть разные комплектации и в вашей машине производился ремонт. Ходовые огни должны включаться автоматически при активации автоматического режима включения фар.

I had the ! because my back hatch wasn't closed properly. The hatch looked closed but it wasn't. I closed the hatch, the ! went away and the lines came back:)

Thanks so much. I had to modify it slightly for my UK 2019 RAV4 after a battery change. The very first step did not work. I turned on lights 3 times and nothing happened. I then tried car in accessory mode and it did. Then when I got to the Camera setting button it was grayed out and non operative. Then I put the car into ready to drive mode (in park still) and the button went black and I could press it and it proceeded as per instructions. After restarting the car the lines were stilll not there but after playing with the buttons at the bottom of the screen they appeared. What a faff. Unbelievable. How on earth did you learn this fix??

This only works on the RAV4’s that have the audio package. Ones with the convenience package do not have dynamic guidelines. This is a very annoying feature that Toyota did. I have an XLe that has the convenience package which includes the sunroof and the powered rear hatch. It does not include the back up camera, dynamic lines or the backup assist functionality. Unbelievable Toyota would not provide that as standard baseline RAV4 functionality.

I don't know if it works differently on different model years, but I didn't even have to go into the service menu on my 2022 Rav4. All I had to do was turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, then all the way to the right to get the dynamic guidelines working.

Hi thank you you fixed this for my Rav4 2019 limited.. not sure what happened but fixauto fixed a scratch in my door and they got some kind of sensor parking error they tried to fix themselves by playing with the setting. And they couldn't. I think they disconnected the battery. All it needed was for me to drive a bit and that error disappeared. But of course no more dynamic yellow lines... until your video so thank you very much for that.

Can you believe my Lexus service "specialist" told me my model did not have the dynamic grid lines....I found that hard to believe so I went online and found your video. "Dynamic guide lines" or yellow lines of Toyota cars will dispear when you disconnect and reconnect the battery of the car.
