Toyota RAV4 (2019-2024): Installation Of Side Mirror Dynamic Sequential LED Turn Signal Lights.

In this video, we will show how to install rear-view side mirror dynamic sequential (running) LED turn signal light units in the 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 Toyota RAV4. For that, we will disassemble the side mirror assembly. The aftermarket LED light units are more bright and more visible under certain conditions. The Plug'n'Play installation is fairly easy. The only difficult part is not to damage the tabs of the side mirror cover during the removal process. You have to be extra gentle when performing this operation.

Thanks for video! I just completed the install for LED sequential clear ( non smoked) mirror turn signals on my 2019 Rav4 hybrid limited. The non smoked are in my opinion much brighter to see from afar, especially during the daytime. I purchased them on Amazon for a pair for $42....and very happy with results. It really does update the vehicles appearance and safety as well.

when you take the indicator glass out there is still some plastic moulding left. does that come as one piece to the bit that goes underneath the mirror or is that 2 separate parts but not split ?? really cool indicators/turn signals btw

The new lights look a fair bit dimmer than the oem lights only looking at it from the back. odd that the mirror lights are super bright from the front view but is actually a downgrade when looking at the mirror lights from the tail end of the car. Just something to think about. I think turn signals are more important from the back view especially when changing lanes.

Hi, thank you! Our RAV4 doesn't come with puddle lights. But once you disassemble the mirror in a similar manner to how we did it in the video, you should be able to access the puddle light bulb.

Very helpful video! Not sure where in Canada you are but any chance you have the old lights you took out for sale possibly? A rock came up and hit my passenger side light and cracked it. We have not tried installing ones in the side mirrors with cameras but since the led lights are direct replacement for the OEM bulbs, I am guessing that it should work in your case as well.

Hey, only hybrid models have replaceable low beams- they are projectors All other models, at least for now, have claster of single LEDs and I am not sure if they are easy replaceable.

I just installed these on my 2020 Rav4 Limited. It installed pretty easily and it looks great. However, my dome lights stay on even with the door closed but everything else works fine. I installed it like you showed but don't have any ideas what could be wrong. Any ideas? Thanks!

The new turn signal LEDs should not affect the Dome lights. Check if the buttons for the dome lights are in the ON position.

You did all those modifications to your car. How did they impact your warranty? I am really skeptic to replace anything with those aftermarket parts

We understand your concern, that is our main interest as well and that is why we chose only modifications that made no alteration on the original electrical circuitry of the car or major mechanical components. We are using only direct replacement or plug @ play parts/ devices with the same or similar power consumption rates and overload protection. We did not splice any original wire yet, all aftermarket mods are easily reversible. Other "heavy duty " modifications such as amplifiers, additional lighting equipment external body/cargo/ suspension mods might be done later after warranty expiration.

At the very end when you're sitting in the garage and your HAZARDS are blinking, was I seeing things? The DRIVER'S side mirror was simply blinking while the PASSENGER'S side mirror was working properly. What was up with that?

If you don't have lights on side mirrors, you can't install this light. It comes as the replacement of the OEM lights.

Side blinkers are not for cars in front of you but next or in blindspot areas. Yet you never show the angle from the back, not even once. Btw, your car will look way better without those fog light turn signals. Look too busy and more is not always better. Having said that, I learned a lot from your other videos.

It actually is. You need to be really careful and patient when you work with the mirror cover.

Its a useless fancy upgrade....very high chance of mirror cover clips will break while opening and closing cover...not an easy install and not worth it...
