Toyota RAV4 Gets Stuck then we do the Macarena: An Off-Road Adventure Captured by Drone

Join us for some off-road fun as we get the Toyota RAV4 stuck and then dig it out to perform the Macarena dance. This video captures all the action from an arial view, providing a unique perspective on the process of getting stuck and then freeing the vehicle.
Equipment Vehicle: Toyota RAV4 Limited (SNOWY), equipped with Nokian Hakkapeliitta R5 SUV Winter tires for added traction in snowy conditions. The vehicle also has Comma.ai Comma 3 self-driving technology with SunnyPilot installed. The infotainment display includes a Beat-Sonic TIF-02 Smartphone Mirroring Kit, a Chromecast with Google TV (4K) - Snow, and a Google Pixel 6 Pro for casting the drone feed.
Various drones used include Skydio 2 and 2+, DJI Mavic Pro, and Parrot Bebops, Fatshark FPV goggles, DJI FPV goggles.
Studio: Nikon DSLR, 12 x 300 Lumen Lights, 3D Printed Teleprompter.

That was filmed on the Skydio 2+ and the Skydio 2 after the plus found a twig.

Was the vehicle high centered from the snow? I figure with those Hakkapeliittas the RAV4 should be pretty a-ok in the snow. Is it the AWD system that was not that great, or a combo of too much slip and the rear not engaging?

The snow at that part of the road was thick, heavy, semi-ice, the entry road was soft snow. So we actually landed the car center on densely packed snow. The tires were off the ground when we started digging. Those hakka's will get you through anything until they stop making contact.

Got ya! I have been on the fence with the RAV4; Im in Colorado. Everything Ive seen shows the AWD system in this vehicle to be ok. But yeah, no contact, centered, that makes sense. Thank You!@@JonahDorman

Not very smart pushing your car to the limits to drive in deep snow. what if you don't have cell reception and get stuck?

You would have the follow vehicle come into the shot and have them pull you out.

You need good all terrain tires if going offroad. Simple. Peope dont seem to understand basics.

The basics are that good snow tires far outperform all terrain tires in the snow.
