How much of a mpg hit did you take adding the 2” lift?

We didn’t have the RAV stock long enough after taking possession to get a good idea of its fuel mileage before mods. But from past vehicles we’ve modified, the lift didn’t affect mileage, but going to a heavier, more aggressive off-road wheel & tire setup is where it would take a hit.

We didn’t keep it stock long enough after purchsing to know what the mpg was beforehand. It definitely takes a hit once you add heavy off-road wheels and tires.

Did you have any CV axle issues with the dendoff springs? I was looking at some other spacer and coil over lifts, and noticed a lot of people were complaining about CV axle bind. Also, how do the dendoff springs feel compared to the TRD offroad springs?

We haven't experienced any CV vibration or binding issues with the Dendoff springs, or with the Torq Engineering 2" spacer lift we previously had before the springs. The Dendoff springs we went with (Front 222 LBS/IN, Rear 255 LBS/INCH) are stiffer than the stock TRD springs. Much better imo, especially when loaded with gear.

@@The_Endless_Trail_ did you need any fitment adjustments? Or did the springs fit the suspension just fine? I noticed the northwoods performance spring replacement package had extensions for the sway bars i think?

The springs fit without any additional hardware. If you’re doing the install yourself, an extra pair of hands are helpful to get the rear springs in. Took us a bit of work to get the rear control arms low enough for the springs to clear on the way in. But once in, everything bolted up fine.

is that ONX map you have on your screen? I had no idea you could use anything other than standard nav or google maps. If it is, was there a special device you needed to get it running?

It is onX! I only recently found out it can be used with Apple CarPlay, and I believe (not 100% sure) it also works on Android Auto. No special device required. The onX app icon is on the second “page” when I have Apple CarPlay connected, just need to swipe left when viewing the available phone apps on the RAV’s screen.
