Now that’s a pretty sweet ride!! I’ve thought of SAS’ing our 3rd gen - but being twin locked seems to work nicely for us….

Thanks! It kinda seems counter productive to fix the body work and then go damage it in the woods but i had to personalize it lol! Thanks for watching

Nice rig Purposed / clean That detail regarding the frame repairs was interesting … all that detail with the…. body on ?
@ht_fab35252 жыл бұрын
Yes! I was able to make it happen without removing the body but the bed obviously had been removed. i used a friends frame dolly it was like a low welding table used for building modified stock cars the IFS mount fit the table perfectly (frame was done before sas) and i added out rigging to hold the body while the frame rails wer removed. I have pictures somewhere if needed

What front spring are you running along with shackles? I'm curious did you have to get a custom front drive shaft when you put in those springs? Have a 83 Toyota but I don't know what front springs to run already have 63's in the rear. Thanks
@ht_fab3525 Жыл бұрын
3” lift trail gear springs. Whatever comes in the IFS eliminator kit. I did get a tom woods drive shaft for it they helped me with the measurements (great company) If yours is an 83 the stock drive shaft should work unless your going crazy on the lift no? Good luck thanks for watching!

Same here😂 I’ve owned two rock crawler projects that my wife hates and reminds me how I should sell them every time she gets mad at me she brings it up. One is a 90 4Runner and the second one is an 80 Toyota pickup already 4 linked in the front with Fox 18” air shocks with 63’s in the rear. I got so much put into the suspension fab work that I just got to put an engine in it to see it finally drive for once. Nice build by the way!🤙
