Actually that Rangga looks like it's based in a 5 door Jimny, Toyota owns Suzuki and would be amazing if they take the 5 door Jimny to US as a Land Cruiser Sport (obviously with a hybrid powertrain to bump the power up) and being there a double cab and single cab Pickup based on a Jimny would be awesome

Hi Kirk! I am so excited about this small truck to compete with the Ford maverick… I think everybody that owns an SUV or two or four-door vehicle would definitely want a small versatile little workhorse that can go around and run errands. I think it would fit into almost every family in the United States , that’s just my opinion I would definitely purchase one depending on what model they made. I would like something closed in and something that had camping features.🇯🇵❤️🤍 and I hope they make it in Japan at the Tahara factory or the Motomachi factory🙏👍😇⭐️ Respectfully, JimmyUSAF 🇺🇸✈️

The Hilux Champ is the identical pickup available in Thailand for around 13K$. it's a basic workhorse with no frills, as such it wouldn't likely meet the standards of both safety, nor the creature comforts the U.S. market demands, let alone the EPA requirements. As such, the current offerings of tech laden, overpriced vehicles, is something you'll have to base your choices from. Most pickups are used, and abused, as commercial vehicles here in Thailand, which is why the Hilux, which is considered a medium duty pickup is not offered in the U.S., you have to settle with a light duty version, the Tacoma.
