1:35 No tool is needed, the top piece actually pulls out by hand. I almost damaged mine by trying to pry under it when I only need to pull the outward most piece out by hand. He explained it but didn't realize what he meant till mine came out. 5:10 The socket needed is a T30. (for future viewers)

04 Sienna CE busted. Did everything you said the hard way before I saw your video; thanks 👍 But I see a connector at the rear seatbelt & I think I disconnected it by accident 😞 I have to look closely again to see where it connects to ? Thanks again because I'll be able to put it all back the correct way anyway 😂👍

@@callsforservice219 $422 for passenger rear 1/4 window on 04 Sienna CE from Toyota parts; but it was tinted & don't think it even fit; so returned today & going get another tinted😞 put in tomorrow early. They're saying $275. But we'll see. Have everything out of way & plastic board duct tape over opening. I didn't know how to install window to yucky black glue at the same time as the hinge side ? But I will ask the guy at the shop if I can watch or explain so that will be interesting. There's also another item that I'll send pics of a diagram 👍

My passenger rear quarter glass detached at the front glued area. A local auto glass shop that does good work for me quoted most likely $50 to reglue it. They need to see it first in about 3.5hrs from now. Or I can get one in a few days from a local junk yard that is the correct OEM parts. But means no vehicle for 2-4days. Any opinion on just having an auto glass shop reglue the window to the bracket vs junk yard window replacement which would be $70-80.

We are also a glass shop locally where we are at. I don’t recall having a customer come to us with a similar issue, the part coming loose, but I have seen it in the salvage yard when I pull some of these parts. The glass had come loose from those attachments. It can be reattached if done properly you should have no issues. There is always a chance getting another part from salvage be in the same condition as yours now coming loose.

@ the glass shop tech offered to glue it for me free and said to wait 24-48hrs to let the black windshield glue fully dry. I know he used a primer first then the same stuff they used on windshields. It’s currently sitting in closed bathroom with furnace heat.
