The video is supposed to highlight bed accessories & EDC items. I have more Tacoma videos on my channel that go over various Tacoma mods (like the Peragon Truck Bed Cover, the molle panels, brakes, suspension, intake, exhaust, lighting, electrical, rock sliders, etc). I hope you will take a moment to check them out and see if there are any other tacoma videos that might pique your interest 😁.

The Molle panels are nice but I have factory bed lights and a six foot bed which means no go for me according to RC.
@LevelUpMechanics Жыл бұрын
You could probably still make them work with some modification to the bed. However, I am pretty sure that there are bolt-on options out there that are compatible with a 6-foot bed. I just can't remember the company name(s) at the moment...

Your edc set up and presentation reminds me a lot of urbanprepper. Very detailed and very practical. You got a great setup going ! Also, beware the rabbit hole of flashlights, down that path lies madness lol
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
I never heard of Urban Prepper before this comment lol. I just watched a couple of his videos. I can see the similarities now lol 😆. Thanks for the positive feedback! I definitely know of the flashlight 🔦 rabbit 🐇 hole 🕳 you speak of. I'm an ASE Certified Master Automotive Technician, so finding the perfect flashlight to use for work is a struggle... I will say that one thing that could make the PowerTac flashlight even better would be if it had a magnetic base (of some sort) for hands-free use. The struggle is real when it comes to finding the one flashlight "to rule them all" lmao 🤣.
@travisprater79323 жыл бұрын
@@LevelUpMechanics olight has some great flashlights with magnetic bases which they also charge from. Really solid lights.

Lol, yeah, I literally just saw that on one of Urban Prepper's videos that I just watched. I'm tumbling down the rabbit hole as we speak lol 😆.

NOCO GB-70 at 2000 amp would be more suitable for a V6. The GB-40 is designed for 4 cyl. cars. It will start a TACOMA V6 but if you were in cold area, you may not have a second chance to start it. Hence having the GB-70 with more amp storage.
@LevelUpMechanics2 жыл бұрын
That is very true about reliability needed in a cold climate. Thank you for sharing some very useful information. Looks like I will need to upgrade to the GB-70 and transfer the GB-40 to my Honda Civic 👍👍 Thank you for the very helpful advice!

Not to be a dick but I clicked on this for tacoma specific mods not EDC and to watch someone charge a battery. So I will call this video click bate but not a bad video.
@LevelUpMechanics2 жыл бұрын
Gotcha. There were a couple toyota-specific accessories in the video... I also have other videos on my channel showing other tacoma bed mods (like the molle panels & the Peragon Bed Cover). I promise that it wasn't my intention to mislead you. And at the end, I wasn't charging a dead battery. I was jump starting a COMPLETELY DEAD battery. In two minutes. Using just the NOCO Boost Jump Starter. That item alone is freaking amazing to have on hand for the Tacoma. I'll never have to worry about a dead battery leaving me stranded in the future now. I appreciate the criticism though! It's given me the idea to create another video based SOLELY on Tacoma-Specific accessories & mods. Thank you for your input! 👍👍

@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
The video is to show a variety of bed accessories and EDC (every-day-carry) items that I have on hand for the Tacoma... including a "flashlight and a cheap Leatherman tool" (which would fall under the EDC category).
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
You should try searching "Tacoma EDC" on KZbin... there are quite a few videos out there where people go over what they like to have on hand with the Tacoma. Hopefully this explanation helps to provide better context to the video 😅
@racer03163 жыл бұрын
@@LevelUpMechanics it's titled Tacoma bed mods and accessories, every vehicle should have a flashlight and a multitool these are not mods or bed accessories, it's just disappointing what some people will do for clicks these days.
@LevelUpMechanics3 жыл бұрын
Here is the title of the video: Toyota Tacoma Mods ‐ Truck Bed Accessories & EDC - 3rd Gen Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 - Amazon I do agree that every vehicle should have a flashlight and multi-tool. I just figured it was important to include them in my list of EDC items that I went over in this video. I also went over other items as well that I thought might be beneficial... some that are considered to be truck bed accessories and others that are EDC items that I want to have on hand... I think maybe you might just be getting a little hung up on the word "mods". To modify is to "make partial or minor changes to (something), typically so as to improve it or to make it less extreme". So this video is just to show what I've added onto my Tacoma, in hopes that maybe the info I've provided might be useful to someone watching, or to give an idea as to what someone may want to add to their Tacoma that might be useful for them... Everyone is entitled to their opinion, so I understand if you were less than impressed with this video. It was not my intention to create "click-bait"... I just wanted to share / talk about some items that I've added to the Tacoma that might prove to be useful to others...
@blakeberlin62953 жыл бұрын
Your title is fine. It provides enough information identifying the focus on bed accessories. So many videos are titles "TOP MODS" and then you see decals, doo-dads, etc.
