The TacomaKid These filters suck balls
@DOOSHEAN5 жыл бұрын
The TacomaKid I’m not worried about the design, I understand that they function the same. I just would prefer a normal metal filter. I don’t care that they produce a little more waste. It’s just a little bit of metal. The oil filter setup on my 2nd gen Tacoma was much better and easier. Fees like they went backwards with this one.
@oscarpallaresmedia215 жыл бұрын
@@DOOSHEAN lol a little bit of waste! That's why this world is so f$%k up.
@DOOSHEAN5 жыл бұрын
The TacomaKid I’m sorry my opinion on an oil change offended you. I’m not careless about waste and pollution. I pick up other people’s trash when I’m outdoors. I care about the wilderness and keeping it clean. I recycle as much of my waste as I can. Including metal filters when I changed the oil in my old truck. It’s honestly kind of funny that you got pissed off and brought up politics. You should learn to not get so easily offended and assume things about other people.
@DOOSHEAN5 жыл бұрын
Oscar Pallares I actually agree with you, but metal in an oil filter is very minuscule. Also, it’s not very hard to not throw them away, and take used filters and oil back to the auto parts store for recycling.

Good video and nice Tacoma. Smart idea to improvise cutting the quart for a funnel. I would caution that it probably isn't good practice to cut it in place as shown in the video. For God's sake don't remove this thing. I followed the videos instructions and once you take it off it is INSANELY OBVIOUS this clip is not ment to be removed and put back on repeatedly; it is a very hard steel, and the thin tabs that hold it in place are not ment to flex back and forth. If I had to guess this thing is CRIMPED ON at the factory. Look at the tabs on the clip and how they grip onto the structure, they are CRIMPED ON. shame on the video uploader for putting this info out without correcting it.
