I forgot what year it was but 2 of my brothers and I worked at the same company and that day it snowed so hard. We were done with work at 10 p.m. and everyone was stuck in the parking lot. We helped most of the people pushing their cars, couple friends called and we went and help them. We helped random people on the road. Didn’t get home till 3a.m. Exhausted but love to help people out there.

Awesome truck! About the snowstorm- we used to get alot of those here in Northeastern Bulgaria before. The worst I've been in was around 2000 when we were travelling to see my grandparents in another city (about 40 miles away, nothing spectacular). But the sheer ferocity of the weather scared me- the wind was pushing the car left and right, I couldn't see anything but the taillights of the car, which was about 10ft infront of us. Everything was white, no matter where you look- front, back, left, right it was all snow white. That was probably the only time when I was scared for my life because of the weather. By the way, those winds I was talking about, they come from Siberia since there are no geographical obstacles between Russia and Bulgaria- only the Black Sea.

I was heading down a mountain at sunset when I noticed a lifted Silverado on the side of the road hill facing uphill just spinning his tires going further into the bank. Turns out he had bald mud terrains and he only had 2 wheel drive. I was afraid to have him go downhill because it was going to be iced over, and he was planning on going to the mountain for the weekend with his family. So I took my strap to his front end, and hauled him up the hill (about 30 minute drive), his road needed to get to his cabin was blocked off from the snow plows. I had a pretty big bumper, so stopped him, and pushed through the embankment, and then plowed a road through to his cabin in about 3 feet of snow. Ripped him right to his cabin, told him do not drive 😂 On my way down the road, anold man had cords on his f150 and burnt them off from spinning his tires so much just to trying to get up ice. I pulled him to flat ground, then plowed his uphill driveway. Told him to floor it and get into his garage. Got him to the garage, and I’ve never seen someone so grateful. Helping in snow is always fun. Getting people out of pinches makes me feel worthy.

“Worst snow” is hard because in Colorado there are places where the road is often covered in multiple feet of snow, but the worst storm I saw was in 07 or 09. I was at my grandmas house near Estes park and we were trapped in the house for a few days. Rescued by a f250 with chains and a plow

As a retired City Coach Operator it warms my heart to see y'all be able to help those city buses. In my transit we wouldn't have been allowed to let y'all help us out as it would be deemed a "liability" for the transit bus company. Many times I was stuck for hours including the winter of 2008 where I was stuck (at the end of my shift) for 5 and 1/2 hours before our big tandem axel tow truck finally came around to rescue. But, hey on the bright side I was getting paid by the hour and over time is always good! =)

Worst snow storm...about 1993 going over the California Sierra pass to Lake Tahoe. I was about 9 years old. Dad was driving a 1980's dodge family van on stock tires with chains in total whiteout conditions at night. We couldn't see a cliff edge on a turn and slightly skidded off the side. Without the chains, I'm positive we would have gone off the edge and probably died...no joke. One of the scariest moments of my life!

I lived in Anchorage Alaska from 1980-2003. Many snowfalls like the one you experienced. Advice... weigh down your bed with sand bags. As for tires you want pliable before you want studs, but both works even better. Nice pliable tires will stay at operating temps rather than freezing up like regular tires. As for a one day haul of snow it was 22 inches in 2001 or 2002 in Anchorage.

@@SpencerHogg Yeah, I remember it well. It actually shut the city down for a couple of days. The day before, Wednesday, the perpetual precipitation the north coast gets in winter turned into freezing rain. We had a field trip to the ski hill and it was so icy, the vehicle I was in stopped in the middle of the highway to chain up. Then they didn't open the hill because they already had 1.5 m of fresh power at the base and 2.5 m of fresh powder at the top, and it was too much of an avalanche risk before grooming. But we couldn't go back home because a minor avalanche blocked the highway, which took the crews a few hours to clear (it was maybe 3 m high on the mountain side of the highway). School got cancelled for the rest of the week. The following day, Thursday, is when it really started to come down. My mom was delivering home oxygen to people, and so I went with her. We got stuck in her sedan several times, as we got high centered followed snow ruts on the road. It was kind of a heavy, compactable snow in the morning, but around noon turned into the lightest powder I've ever experienced: I'm talking two feet of powder so light you could easily walk through it. But on Friday, the weather did the typical north coast thing and turned into rain, shrinking the snow and making it super heavy. Everything was back to normal by Monday. So I laugh when Toronto calls in the army, or when Vancouver talks about a snow storm and it's only three soggy inches.

Outstanding video buddy! Tacomas are frickin awesome! Im 17 and live in Manitoba so ive seen quite a few beastly storms here. The worst I can remember was Christmas 2016 huge snow fall and even bigger drifts at least 3 feet in some places. I remember driving with my dad who had a FWD Ford Taurus at the time, we got to the through street that leaves my neighbourhood and that street happens to be right along a huge field so the snow from the field had blown and submerged a chunk of the road in a drift probably about 3-4 feet. The Taurus couldnt get through but luckily an F-250 behind us went ahead and made some good tracks and we got through. My dad remembers storms much worse then even that. Back in 2017 he traded the 2WD Taurus for a 4x4 F-150 and he’s not gotten stuck anywhere since then. Anyway great video bud

I was driving 6 hrs going home. Saw this little car stuck with her year old baby at the first round about in our neighbor. I did not hesitate to pull them.
