at the 6 minute mark you said, "We can control the air flow direction now, which is lovely." HAHAHA Lovely...I can't wait to get that control back. I'm installing my new servo tmr. Gonna need to get some heat up on the windshield before winter kicks in.

I found both the driver side, and passenger side assemblies. My truck is blowing cool air ONLY. All of my vents are working properly. I can watch the gears move, as I change air locations. It's just not getting hot, the way it should. This is really frustrating. Any ideas, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It's like the main flapper isn't directing the air from the heater core. It's just luke warm air.

Mine "08 Tundra is similar, there is no heat on the driver side floor or vent, just cold air but the passenger side seems fine. Did you find a fix for it?

@@roadtoadtwo For me, replacing the servo motors (the entire plate) fixed it. Followed these instructions: www.tundrasolutions.com/threads/climate-control-system-delay-after-startup.192498/

so my question, was it just syncing needed or did you replace something. I have the delay and vents not working, but after I turn the truck off about 45 seconds later I can hear the components moving back and forth. in the 3 videos I see what you did, but don't know what fixed the problem. I have a 2007 tundra, and have everything removed but the servco, and just want to know what the fix is. Thanks for listening...

Any advice on on reattaching a broken lever from one of the shafts inside the air box? I was thinking of using a screw. Your opinion would greatly be appreciated. Thank you.

where is this part???? NO info on how to access, remove and replace even if replacing with a new one. Thank you for the info for those who want to struggle with syncing and putting all back together in hopes of no more issues. I'm happy to buy the new synced part for a couple hundred. If I knew where to take out the old, and put in the new. Why has TOYOTA made this a huge secret and so difficult. I'm not trying to repair the door actuator. As in driver door. That's some of the info that comes up. Nothing with my problem. help ???

Please help!! I'm having the same problem with my 2007 tundra. When I turn the ignition to on there is a delay as well. The temperature initially defaults to 75 degrees and the air blow to the floor vents. I'm able to control the different modes. The system does not remember the settings. I want to try and the repair myself but I'm not sure how to sync the vent doors once the servo gears are set. I have alldata for the truck but can't find the necessary info in regards to removal and installation of diver side servo. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Any tricks on getting those vent arms lined up so they mesh properly when installing the ac servo plate? I have the AllData schematic, which is the same as the Toyota Factory Service Manual that I have. The problem is those arms don't want to stay put and you can't get hands on them when the plate is in place. Thats where I'm stuck at the moment since I can't seem to get the vent arms properly engaged with the gears on the servo plate.....
@randolphcirilo48007 жыл бұрын
Craig Borden .. Craig did you ever figure it out? I read somewhere that if you want to keep those arms in the spot where its aligned, to turn the air flow knob all the way to the left or dash vent position.

I'm getting ready to tackle this same problem in my 2008 tundra. Where are those things located? Is the passenger side one behind the glove box? Is the driver side one next to, or beside the gas pedal? I wish you would have shown the location of these modules. I guess I'll just start tearing things apart, until I find them.
@patrickniedermeyer21125 жыл бұрын
Agreed. I assume this is behind the glovebox, but he never mentions it or zooms out and I dont recognize what's in the frame.
@deezerdeezer4 жыл бұрын
Check out this post www.tundrasolutions.com/threads/climate-control-system-delay-after-startup.192498/ Yes, the drivers side is right of the gas pedal and the passenger side left of the glovebox.
@brandongregory48498 жыл бұрын
both motors are moving. the little gear above the servo acts like the floor doesn't exist. it pauses at vent , then when switched to defrost it sticks for a sec on floor then jumps right to defrost
@blackmoses52358 жыл бұрын
Brandon Gregory Sounds like you may have a gear stripped or rod broken. Remove your ventilation tubing for the floor on the driver side and watch the operation of the vent door

hi man i need your help please .in the minute 1:40 you said that you took off the bottom servo motor .can you take off that servo motor without taking off the whole thing? that servo motor is not working in my tundra.

It's best to get the complete servo assembly and replace with new because the assembly has to come off anyway
@daedma34 жыл бұрын
Black Moses ok thank you but if i want to take off just that servo motor.is it possible?
@blackmoses52354 жыл бұрын
Yes that's possible but you still have to remove the servo assembly
@deezerdeezer4 жыл бұрын
You can't remove the motors without taking off the entire servo assembly first, because the clips are on the side facing the heater box.
