TOYOTA TURN ASSIST | Tighter Turns? | Landcruiser CRAWL CONTROL | Testing | Does it actually work?

Today we test Toyota’s crawl control, specifically the ‘turn assist’ functionality. This system is designed to reduce the turning radius of this large 4WD, but does it actually work?
In this video I explain how the system works, why Toyota have designed it and how to activate it.
We then take the Landcruiser 200 series to varying traction surfaces where we test out how well the system works and if the system works better in certain scenarios.

Well explained and well demonstrated. With a vehicle that size though is the gain using this feature enough to make a difference in the real world. Only Toyota’s customers can answer this honestly!

way too many steps to be useful regularly

There is a bit to it, but once you have the hang of it, it only takes a few seconds to activate, keeping in mind you're likely to be in low range 4WD when using this anyway.
