Nice to watch great driving skill from uncle. I'm planning to buy the yaris, but worried that it might be slightly underpowered compare to the city and almera. Is there a Part 2 by the way?

No there isn't but maybe later when the road is open again. This was done during MCO when Genting was closed. No need to worry about the power. There is enough, but yes the City has a bit more power, and the Almera has a bit more torque. On the road, the cars would be quite similar in performance, unless you can extract 100 percent all the time - in which case I would suggest you buy sonething even more powerful.

If you can afford it, the Vios GRS package is worth it. The car definitely handles better with the sports shocks and the bigger wheels. The 10 speed tuning also helps on the hillclimb, a lot.

It is okay as it is. The Vios GRS is good. Shocks should fit this car too.

Looks like the downshift alert quite limits control so you either have to be slower on entry, or keep to a higher gear. Unless you keep pretty close to the redline when trying to downshift? At what RPM does it allow you to downshift?

Use Sport mode of course. Sport mode will give you better power, which you need. Also, pump up your tyres by another 3 psi, so they become a bit stiffer and don't fold over during hard cornering. Also, last by not least, respect other road users and do not drive beyond your limit. If going ny Ulu Yam, do not cross over to the opposite lane, because it is 2 way traffic

The Yaris is in a smaller category, (B) whilst the Corolla and Mazda 3 are in the C category. The Mazda 3 is imported, so would cost a bit more, and it is 1.5, therefore has less power. The Corolla has a 1.8 litre engine and is locally assembled, and offers a good package in terms of value. The Yaris is most affordable, and the Mazda is the nicest looking. Your decision depends on what your most important neefs are.
