Toyota Yaris All Keys Lost Programming New Keys with FVDI - B2799

Hi i notice the fvdi says write chip data back to eeprom and vehicle will start. But you didn't confirm this. Will the vehicle start without writing back to eeprom.?

Hi when you say dongle is that the ring that comes with the FVDI? If possible can you post a picture of it

I have a 2006 Lexus GS 300 the ECM and the immobilizer Were replaced I programmed a brand new key fob from the dealer but for some reason The only way that it took programming was by Virginizing the immobilizer and the smart key computer via eeprom when I press the power button to turn on the car it turns on and shuts off right away but I get code B2799 in the ECM but if I shut off the switch right away the code does not come on But if I leave do ignition switch open I get code B2799 The immobilizer indicator light it’s off Was this your situation?

@@raycastillo3168 No , I had no crank at all. If you have crank then delete all errors and try to sync the ecu with immo box. Not sure how the Lexus immo is configured.

I tried jumping the OBD pins for 30 minutes then I tried for 40 minutes and I also tried resetting it with the scanner and nothing also at first it did not crank either and then I had to Virginiz via eeprom that was the only way that I can get it to virginiz it I have a feeling that something to do with one of the sensors which I have disconnected a lot of them and still nothing I’m waiting for some fuel injectors to come in I’m going to try that and see hopefully that’s the problem A shorted fuel injector one of them had a cracked plug

@@raycastillo3168 fuel injectors won't throw an immobilizer error. To sync the 2 immo and ecu you would need some tool that can do that.
