Great review, fair and balanced. In the UK the 2017 Yaris is now fitted with a 1.5 petrol engine (plus 1.0 petrol and 1.5 hybrid). Nice town in the background shots.

That 4 speed auto is bulletproof! CVTS are rubbish. Also, in the US we get the powerful 1.5L..

Its crazy that Toyota havent progressed at all compared to my 04 sportivo echo.Same engine, think same manual transmission. I suppose as they say, why fix what isnt broken but god no progress at all

Owning one of this, I found the yaris surprisingly fun to drive, it may not have the power, but it can still take corners pretty fast and stop quickly without wheel slip. Awesome car.

Hols4 Loads of these in the village I live in the u.k. They keep updating it but the interior is like a 1970's car and only old ladies buy them ! Great reviews Ray
