I have also Toyota Yaris 2012 gen 2 manual transmission. Sometimes it is having a hard time to accelerate when I shift gear. I have replaced the fuel tank filter, brake master, brake pads and brake lining. However, I still experience the problem.

What was the symptoms when you had engine trouble, I am getting reduced acceleration but if I turn off the car and restart it goes away, I am getting no engine light or anything eithet

Hey Declan how did you go with that issue? How was it fixed im having the same issue with my car, reduced acceleration and was shaking till it stalled. A mechanic told me must be ECU and to take to Toyota something I doubt... I have replaced sparks and battery it's gone away not as bad but still happens

My car struggles to start. Plugged in the obd reader shows me c1545. No engine light is on. Once started car runs perfect. I think crankshaft position sensor is knackered on my car I'll let you know what happens. Getting it from my toyota stealership because I'm scared of buying a cheap knock off that'll go wrong again!

toyota yaris 2 diesel acceleration problem it comes on but then goes off no matter how much acceleration it does not take into account as soon as it starts it goes off the error is P1604 what could it be?
