Dealer add-ons bring up the first edition to $80k+?! Defeats the purpose of making the Land Cruiser cheaper. The previous model was $90k but you got so much more and it was indestructible. I wouldn't go to that dealership because of the greedy add-ons.

I agree with you 100%. Local dealer in San Jose quoted me $88k. I will buy a 2 year old Mercedes for half the price and I am still head with a luxurious super safe car and more options.

There was no previous model in the USA. 300 series is bigger than this. This is 200 series aka Prado aka land cruiser in Europe.

I own a 2009 Land Cruiser LC200 w/ ~190,000 miles and I've seen others with 300-400k on the clock. What're the chances the 300 series has the same reliability? Bc I am not seeing it.

Note: On the Landcruiser Edition, you can option the Premium Pkg which gives you heads up display, sunroof, full leather, JBL Sound, wireless charging, cool box in the center console, digiital rear view mirror, and a few other safety options. Price $4,600.00 for this pkg.

I was excited about possibly getting one of these till I found out you can't put more than 120lbs in the back without damaging the batteries. That's a deal breaker.

As I understand it, that rating is only for the plastic cover over the small, rearward bin area, not for the main load floor.

They have the same 4 cylinder turbo engine as my 2024 tacoma TRD off-road and transmission I sure love mine excellent engine

Next year toyota is releasing a new Land Cruiser Trim that will ditch the hybrid, add panoramic roof, heated rear seats, and 3rd row seating. It will take the place of the 1st sucker....errrr 1st edition.

Does anyone know how much the battery & electric motor add to the weight of the vehicle? Im not crazy about the extra weight & the room it takes up in the cargo area? I like the Land Cruiser but the return on gas mileage & extra hp does not justify the extra weight & cost. Too bad Toyota doesn’t give you any options.

Thank you Toyota for bringing this back at a more affordable price. We were all sad when it left and asked for it back. Of course now that it’s back the haters are complaining about it. They always do. lol

If these new Toyota vehicles came with regular V4, V6 and V8 engines I would have already bought a Tundra or Land Cruiser. Could these new turbo hybrid engines be the end of Toyota’s reliability and longevity? Toyota’s reputation for longevity and reliability could be coming to an end with these very troublesome engines. For the first time in 40 years I can honestly say with confidence that I don’t trust Toyota’s new hybrid turbo engines.
