I am glad you kept your truck line and your offroad version trucks, and also brought off-roading slightly to the Rav4. I wish engines could meet emission standards and we all can have v8 back again. Never forget your v8 roots Toyota and natural aspiration. If it weren't' for strict government standards, I am sure you would have v8 an v6 models.

It would be nice for their consumers but that isn’t how capitalism works. They should discontinue the original Highlander and add an LE model to this and move on though. No need to have two vehicles that seat 7 people with only a 6 inch difference in length.

Grand highlander has a perfect size, it is not too small or too big, It is the SUV of my dream I saw it at the new york auto show, my only complaint is that the word grand high lander stamped on the trunk door is too small they should be at least 3/4 or 1/2 inch bigger after all we are talking about a grand highlander not a small highlander

That V6 in the sequoia is rwd based, the grand highlander is a unibody with fwd based design

@@BigAltimaEnergy719 It’s still a mistake. The non hybrid versions are going to be too heavy and slow with a whiney engine. For the gas engine, at this price point the new 2023 Honda Pilot will be as reliable with better performance and equal build quality as the Grand Highlander.

@@BigAltimaEnergy719 Are you sure? In 2022, Toyota sold 10.48M vehicles. Out of that 2.73M were hybrid, electric & fuel cell vehicles. In that class, at least in the US, many buyers want power for acceleration and the Grand Highlander hybrid will be $60K+ which is hard to swallow. People will look toward the hybrid Sienna or the new Honda Pilot as alternatives that may be $10K less. Personally, I just bought a 4Runner before Toyota quits making “affordable” V6 engines.
