Turning On and Off Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) | Toyota

This Quick Reference Guide will provide a clear definition and step by step details on how to turn on and off the Lane Tracing Assist System.
The TSS Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) System is designed to work when the Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) and Lane Departure Alert (LDA) are both on and active. LTA is designed to keep the vehicle centered in its visibly marked lane and preemptively avoid unintended lane departures. LTA is designed for use on relatively straight highways.
LTA uses a forward-facing camera to monitor lane markings - as well as the path of the vehicle ahead, if needed - and is designed to automatically make constant steering inputs to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. LTA does require the driver’s hands to remain on the steering wheel.
LTA is not a substitute for safe and attentive driving. System effectiveness is dependent on many factors including road, weather and vehicle conditions. See Owner's Manual for additional limitations and details.
Although demonstrated on the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, this feature is available on various other Toyota models. See owner’s manual for model specific guidelines and limitations.

​​@@PiffydailyThis Lta indicator is the dumbest feature in the history of cars. Every 10 seconds i'm driving it's beeping. If you need this feature, you shouldn't be driving. I hope Toyota has a way to disable this feature on my 2023 Camry. There's no way in history I'm driving this car with all this beeping. I would rather trade it in for a Honda Accord.

My Corolla is turn off all the time,which is good. Yesterday my friends buy Yaris and know we are trying to figure how to turn it off. We f8nd it,but when the car is shut down and start again this assistance is again turn on. Can we do it to be all the time turn off?

Same for me, on my 2019 Corolla Hybrid when it's off it stays off, and that's good because is useful only on some rare situations like regular traffic flow on the Autobahn, and NEVER in the city or high traffic situations. Unfortunatley on the brand new Aygo X of my girlfriend, this annoying and dangerous feature is turned on every time the engine is started.

Oh, sheeesh. Sooo much easier on a Tesla. Flick the right lever down twice, and boom, you're in Autopilot which keeps you in the dead center of the lane! 👌👍
