perhaps velcro is the best option for the chest plate. The mando figure has all his armor attached by velcro and works real good

I thought about that too but it might rip the undersuit right off....but I guess if I use littke pieces of velcro that might work...hmmmm something to tyink about, thanks for the info

Impressive review brother! I have this figure it doesn't have the QC issues yours came with but I might remove the plastic armor and re attache it with magnets ! Yours poses so much better! Thanks for the inspiration 😁😎

No prob. Yea those armor pieces limit the range of motion so much. Yea I thought about using magnets too but then I'll have to find a way to place them underneath the undersuit. But yea if mine wasn't all jacked up I don't think I would have the courage to rip the armor pieces off hehe

The photos at the end look like they could be screenshots taken from the actual film, excellent work. The chest plate being uneven is very annoying, reminds me of that trash sideshow Jango Fett figure that had the same issue. The hips being uneven also looked annoying but with your handy mods this figure actually looks great

Wow u remember that lol. Thank you for being a long time supporter. Yea the chest was not something I can accept. Glad I was able to remove it, cos this way I was able to give this fig a way better range of motion. Right now I love posing the fig. Thanks for the kind words on the photos too. This fig is definitely fun to shoot.

Great review! Been waiting for this one! I ended up passing on this figure and have the SooSoo Toys on pre-order. A few things: How did you remove the chest plate? Hair dryer to soften the glue? And you should just use the sticky tack. That allows you to get that awesome dynamic pose on the glider! Actually, having the QC issue with the chest armor was a good thing I think! And the thigh armor issue isn't even a big deal once you get him into that glider pose. QC issues do stink, but I guess that's a risk with third party stuff. PS - I like it better when you do live audio when you record, as opposed to recording audio in post.

Yea i too like live audio than what I did this time. I didn't have a free moment to myself so thats why I had to film both separately. As for how I removed the chest plate, I didnt use heat, just good old fashion pulling. I just started pulling slowly from the bottom up. Yea sticky tack might be the best solution, not permanent and adjustable.

That should've been returned. Mine was perfect BTW... maybe I just got lucky. Nothing wrong with needing to repair or replace things after owning the figure / posing, etc but not right out of the box. Sorry you had that experience! Nice job dealing with it though.

Yea in a way I am glad cos otherwise I wouldn't have the courage to remove the armor pieces. Now I can give him more dynamic poses
