I swear. as a little kid playing this game too much, the first time I encountered the Slime boss. I was deeply disturbed and scarred for life. especially when he got bigger and bigger, I felt hopeless until you get the green laser to back you up and put that bastard to hell

When I was a kid I struggled on this boss battle struggling to repeatedly press square to shrink down the slime boss and I kept dying but later I managed to defeat this boss, the game and collect all 50 pizza planet tokens

Do anyone have any idea for what it was so scary? I remember having NIGHTMARES with this 😂 and feeling frozen when I fought it, it was genuine terror but why is it scary? It could be how organic it feels resembling a distorted human being and the level selection for that alley is just disturbing for the sounds it makes and how empty it looks

The monster doesnt suffer damage. Instead you have to shoot him so that he shrinks down in the bin. He will always respawn bigger in size. If you leave him alone for a few seconds he will slowly regrow.

This is the only enemy that is not a toy. Two fact about the N64 version, the boss music for this boss is the boss music for the airplane and the airplane's theme is this one's theme. No clips from Toy Story 2 are awarded on the N64. Probably due to the fact that the system cannot handle as much as the PS1

you can spin the slime away but the time you lose, he heals his damage ( not life bar but size) you HAVE to take those hits to shrink it in the garbage can, use the green laser with last form

last night i almost lost a life from this thing then i realise that you could spin to block his projectile attacks, right now i haven't lost a single life and i want to keep it like that, when i was younger i had to use the upgrade laser (rapid fire laser) because i could press square fast enough to beat him, but i beat him when i was little in fact i beat the whole game when i was little.
